Hi guys so I just got my AS results, currently taking 1 year A-Levels course in Disted college Penang.

Subjects I'm taking: Maths (Pure & Mechanics), Physics & Further maths.

AS results:
GP - 89 [ A ]
Maths - 75 [ B ]
Physics - 65 [ C ]

Planning to retake Physics but still unsure if I should retake Maths.

I don't really know what I want to do after A-Levels, but my main concern would be not getting at least a pass for further maths. I am thinking of applying for Bachelor of Sci in Game Design at Digipen Singapore, emailed them for info few months ago and they want at least 3 passes being the min. requirement.

I think my maths results are partially due to my carelessness so meh..

Pretty stressed regarding Further maths. I regret taking the subject, wanted to take Economics but was afraid that the timetable for arts stream would clash together with the science stream.

Anyway my question is: lets say that I get a A/B for maths, A/B/C for Physics and then a U for Further maths (I hope not but gah) - am I still eligible to apply for university ?

PS: I'm revising Further maths every day now in hopes that I can score something higher than a U.

Okay so I signed a 2 years contract with them for the DG Smart Plan 68 (3GB Internet) last time & the charge was RM 48/month [they had a roadshow promotion going on so I'm suppose to pay RM 48 per month instead of RM 68]

I just got my bill today and they charged me RM 61.42 for the Mobile Internet Monthly 3GB Plan. Shouldn't it be RM 48? I thought it was supposedly fixed at RM48/month unless you exceed the quota and then they'll cut your speed with no extra charges.

So yeah can someone explain to me? Or is it that they'll charge you the extra if you exceed the quota?

PenangBloggers - Connecting bloggers from Penang all together!

Targeting all Penang bloggers!

Heya guys!

The purpose of setting up this site is to connect all the bloggers of Penang together - simple as that. I believe that Penang has quite a big number of bloggers around, some blogging mainly about their lives, some about food and so on.

The second purpose of the site is to link those who have a common interest together. Example: A is into photography but he/she wants to make more friends in Penang who share the same interests as he does. This is where the site PenangBloggers come in. Beside every link that's on the blog, there will be a short description of what exactly is the blog about so it'll be easy to find those who share the same interests as you do

Other than that we're finding potential authors to contribute to the blog itself. A few examples of how exactly to contribute to it would be blogging about your thoughts on current issues - it can be anything!

Updates will be posted weekly on the blog. The updates will consists of:

Newcomers to the blog (aka new blog links we've added to the site)
Interesting links/updates to share with you guys from the bloggers of Penang themselves
*Interesting links/updates/stuff from other places (blogs, websites, etc.)
*Depends if I can find any or if anyone suggests it

So far we're targeting Penang's bloggers first, we'll be taking one step at a time.

Mm yeah so I'm interested in taking guitar lessons but basically I'm er.. clueless >.>"
I've asked a few friends that take guitar and they recommend that I take acoustic first before electric or bass. Originally I wanted to start out with an electric but with the amps and stuff so.. >.>"

Mmm well basically the questions are:
1. Anyone knows where to take guitar lessons in penang? excluding the one at gurney plaza please >_>
2. Is anyone selling a 2nd hand acoustic guitar? COD able in penang and penang only please D:
3. What should I look out for when buying a guitar?
4. Which brand of guitar should I get if I'm just a starter? I heard kadok [or something, can't remember] is bad and it seems like yamaha's recommended by most of the seniors in lyn's previous threads o_O
