This is the situation that I&#39;m trying to help one of my company&#39;s department who were left with an incomplete system :<br /><br />1. We have 2 data loggers that feed data to a Windows 7 PC who processes the data. The 3 machines are connected via a simple 4 port switch. Currently the data successfully flows from the data loggers to the Windows 7 PC.<br /><br />2. Now we have an additional requirement to have the Windows 7 PC to be remotely accessed (via the internet) for the vendor to troubleshoot and also to grab log files off the machine.<br /><br />3. We have experimented by using a wireless adapter (to use our office Wifi network) or 3G internet dongle to provide the PC with internet but it seems that the PC cannot handle 2 different network connections (i.e local network and the internet connection) running at the same time.<br /><br />4. When the local network is enabled, the data from the loggers flow to the PC but the internet cannot be accessed. However when I disable the local network, the internet connection works but the connection to the data loggers are lost.<br /><br />Any help is appreciated.<br /><br />Many thanks. I&#39;m not looking for the best; as long as it works.
