Details of the complaint :
Hye lowyat.net members.
My name is Muhd Hafiz. On 13 Jan 2010, I transfered RM3000 to Nasrul Hafis@sempronic for 15units of Seagate Barracuda 1TB(ES2/OEM/Retail)(Transaction Receipt). He told me 3years personal warranty is provided. He COD all the 15units HDD with my gfren at Bandar Baru Sentul. He told me all the HDD is tested using his 3.5" external HDD enclosure(using SeaTools Long Test) where he COD with the main supplier. After COD with my gfren at Bandar Baru Sentul. I asked my gfren to check is the HDD in static beg and she say yes and sealed with a orange sticker. I did not ask my gfren to test it since she dont know much about computer. So I gave her my buyers list addresses to be send out. 10units send from KL to my buyer located @ Semenanjung Malaysia n Sabah/Sarawak(I could not remember) and the remaining 5units to be send to me(Penang Island) to COD with my buyer here.
*ALL 5UNITS OF HDD(ES2/OEM/RETAIL) SENT TO ME WORKING FINE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM.

Everything settle. After a week or two, several(around 2-3) buyers complain the HDD is having problem(Click Of Death) and demand a warranty. So I called him and he agreed to claim from the main supplier and return back the HDD. Then, the same buyer says the HDD is still having the same problem(Click Of Death). I ask sempronic why this is happening? He told me before he send back, he already test the HDD using SeaTools Long Test and it PASS. So my buyer asking for warranty or refund(cash). And now sempronic is blaming me because im using courier service(PosLaju) saying that PosLaju will throw ur parcel everywhere like they care about it. Then at one time another 5units off HDD encounter the same problem(Click Of Death) on ES2/OEM/Retail HDD with 7200.11(SD1A Firmware). After doing some searching at google.com and I found out that this 7200.11(SD1A Firmware) is very famous of this problem(Click Of Death). All the 8units I ask my buyers to send it all to sempronic so he can do the warranty. He told me he did not manage to claim it all. After thinking about it, So decide better ask sempronic to refund me cash so I can refund back to my buyers since if he still return the HDD, The problem will still be there unless there is other firmware available(in this case NO. all same SD1A 7200.11).

He transfered to me RM600.00 about a month ago and I manage to refund some to my buyers. So now is already 4months of waiting for full refund in CASH. He totally ignore me and keep blaming the PosLaju. There is 3units of Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200.11 SD1A firmware with him that he manage to change with the main supplier. I SMS him saying "XYAH SEND"= DON`T SEND and yet he send to my house last week wednesday and all the HDD is clicking and cannot be use. Here is the SMS i sent to him SMS.
I manage to contact the main supplier and ask him about my HDD. He told me the ACTUAL warranty period is 2MONTHS only. I cannot let him relax everyday and I let people think i CON them.
I even open a poll to ask lowyat.net members whats the main cause of Click Of Death problem Here

nfsu230190 is complaining about me. So I hope this thread can settle my problem ASAP.

**SO FAR, I BEEN SELLING 2.5" 3.5" HDD WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM AND NOT EVEN ONE OF MY BUYER SEND BACK TO ME TO CLAIM WARRANTY. MOST OF THE HDD I SELL VIA POSLAJU. Here is my main HDD selling thread opened@2008 MAIN HDD THREAD.

What`s the main cause of "Click Of Death"

Hye lowyat.net members,

I bought 3 HDD
1.Seagate 1TB OEM 7200.11
2.Seagate 1TB ES2 7200.11
3.Seagate 1TB Retail 7200.11

My fren ship it to me using PosLaju courier service. After I have receive it and try to install to my desktop, I encounter a click sound which is "Click Of Death" problem. After googling, I found out the main reason/cause why this problem happen is the Firmware 7200.11 problem from Seagate.

Question
Whats the main reason/cause my HDD got "Click Of Death" problem.
Izit because maybe PosLaju worker throw² while delivering the HDD?
Help me guys.

Where is the CMOS battery located?
I could not find the battery.

Stated on box is socket AM2+ = 940
But why?

BIOS all on default setting.

Hye guys,
My problem is I have 3 Abit NF-M2S motherboard.

Proc:AMD Athlon 4000+ 2.1Ghz
RAM:1GB Kingston DDR2 KVR667
HDD:WD 80GB IDE HDD
PSU:Normal PSU 230Watt
Graphic:Asus 8400GS

1st board I reformat with Win XP SP3 and can boot like normal

2nd & 3rd board I use the same item stated above. But when I normal boot to Windows it will automatically shutdown. I tried to reset the config in BIOS and even remove the CMOS battery. But the weird thing is, I can boot using the 2nd & 3rd board in safemode without any problem.
I even try to reformat it back using the 2nd & 3rd board with the same HDD. After set the time and date. Wait for 2 3 mins. Shutdown.

Whats the problem with my board?Anyone help me.TQ

My question is
Izit ok if i set my Vdimm to +0.3v, SB/PCIE voltage, HT Link voltage to +0.2v and vcore 1.425v
in future will i have any problem?
