Is it a wise choice to get a loan to study abroad?

Hello there, I am a Graphic Design student. I have big dreams and ambitions and one of them is to study abroad (preferably in Australia or the UK). I don't come from a rich family, my mum has passed away 4 years ago and my dad will be funding me for my diploma. Many have said that a Graphic Designer with only a diploma will not get you anywhere, especially the starting salary and etc. That is why I would like to take my degree before working (although I am working as a freelancer while studying). In addition, the government's financial aids in Malaysia are not available for someone who's taking the Graphic Design course. They prioritize critical courses such as Medicine, Engineering and IT.

I would like to know if it is wise of me to take a loan to study abroad? If I'm going to study abroad, I would work while studying to collect at least some money to settle the loan and work after graduating. What kind of loan should I take? Should it be a bank loan or a loan from the abroad university? Thank you so much!

U-mobile throttled my speed?

So about 5 days ago, I bought and used the u-mobile internet service package (the RM68 unlimited quota) and downloaded a lot of stuff.
The speed was very very good until friday night when I hit 13 gigs.
It went down to 0.10 mbps as stated at speedtest.com and I'm kinda shocked.

I thought that it's probably just because of the weekends and the service is used by a lot of people and it became slow.
I don't know, I think it throttled my speed.

Did they throttle my speed or is it because of the weekends!? Need some answers

Should I change my course?

Hey guys.. I feel kinda confused and I don't really know what to do anymore. I just need your opinion and advice on this because I really can't decide on myself.

Currently I'm studying Diploma in Graphic Design in limkokwing college but after this first semester, I am getting scared that my future will just end up in Malaysia.
I really want to go abroad, especially to Australia. My SPM results were just so-so.
I decided to study graphic design because I think it really suits my passion but after 1 semester studying it, I don't feel that I really really want to pursue it as a career.
As a kid, I always dream about going to the overseas and study something else.
I do have a lot of passion in graphic design, I can design and I have the ability to draw but suddenly I just don't see myself having fun after the course. I might have fun during the course but after that, I don't even know how hard or easy it is to get a job in this field.

Last night, I suddenly realized that before i was going to limkokwing last year, I did decide to do A levels or AUSMAT / SAM to do psychology. I'm very interested in psychology, actually. After knowing that my father would pay for my course in limkokwing, i just blurred out the options to do A levels / ausmat and went straight for limkokwing.
Now I feel that I don't really want to do it.

Should I do pre-U courses instead of what I'm taking now? Is it normal for people to change courses after first semester? A lot of questions ringing in my head
Is it possible to get scholarship to go to overseas uni after a-levels or ausmat?

Just wanted to know your honest opinion. Thanks a lot!!

Noob questions about RapidKL buses >_>"

I am a real noob at rapidkl buses, really. I don't know how!
Plus, I just started living in KL last year and never had the chance to try these buses until I realized that I need them so much to go to KL from where I'm staying in (Puchong).

Those pros who have been around KL with these buses themselves, I'd really appreciate it if you could answer some of my very noobish questions @_@"

1st : Do I need to press the "stop" button (whatever they call it) everytime to stop at my destination although I already know the bus will stop at the destination?

2nd : About the ticket, how do I know exactly how much I should pay for where I'm going? Let's say if I'm taking U60 from Puchong Utama going to Midvalley, it costs 2.50, but what if I'm going to KL Sentral? Will the ticket costs the same too?

3rd : So I read that the tickets do last for a day right? If I buy a U ticket then the next time I'll be riding a U bus, can I still be using the ticket? What confuses me is the fact that they wrote this on the ticket "Tambang Sehala" ? Please, enlighten me!

4th : How do I know at exactly what time will the bus arrive to the origin station? This bugs me because last time I waited, I had to wait for an hour! I feel dumb.

5th : [Super noob question] How to go to USJ 12/2 from Puchong Utama?

Sorry guys if my thread stinks of noobness. Like my granny used to say; malu bertanya sesat jalan.

Thanks for those who took the time to read my thread! Two thumbs up for you guys!

There are some questions stuck in my head and can't get them out!!

[1] If I do very well in my diploma let's say if I take it in an IPTS, will I be able to get scholarship for my degree?

[2] If I want to go overseas during my degree, would you recommend me taking a diploma in an IPTA (for example UiTM) or IPTS? I need some suggestions!!

[3] If I do well during my diploma, will I receive some scholarship from the IPTA/IPTS?

[4] Should I do foundation or diploma if I want to go overseas to do my degree?

[5] If you are a multimedia/graphic student, where is the best college to go to for diploma?

Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!
I appreciate every single suggestions that you give.
ADTP Experience, anyone?

I'm still a highschool student, form 5, just opened up my mind to what i'm gonna do in the future.
I'm just curious about this ADT Programme. Is it only in private U or also provided in government U?
The total number of students is limited to join this programme? Or is this an open programme for anyone interested?

I'm thinking of taking the Graphic Design course. So, I've done some research about the ADTP, I stumbled upon INTi college. They told me I have to do foundation for 1 year in one of their colleges and proceed to any US or UK university for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year.
If anyone joined this programme, please do reply here. I need some info about this ADTP.

Well.. this 2 red rings of doom (not death) striked yesterday at my sister's place..
I bought my xbox for a week now and it happened unexpectedly yesterday after 10 minutes of GoW2 play.

Never had an issue like this before this though. I daresay I played my xbox nearly 4 hours before and never had any overheating and the place I put my xbox was well air ventilated and is high off the ground.

Cooled it down almost 10 hours now, still overheated (2 red rings on the left side).
Anyone here ever got the same problem as mine? Any experience from this tragedy? Any help / suggestion would be gladly appreciated. I love the fact that you can bash into cars and slam them so many times and at the same time unlocking new cars!

2. Jeanne D'Arc (RPG)

This game is really good and it has the potential to kill your time while playing it. You can plan your battle strategies as well as having fun following how the story goes. It's an anime as well. That makes it more exciting, as if you're in an anime. LOL thumbs up.

3. Lumines (Puzzle)

This game is very challenging yet a very fun game to play. Very addictive as well. When you advance levels after levels, you'll obtain new themes and songs which adds more scenario to the whole gameplay of this unique puzzle game. A very nice game I must say.

4. Mind Quiz (Quiz???)

This game tests how your brain works and how strong your attention level is. I love it because it has the potential to increase your IQ level! Although sometimes it's kinda boring but you'll get cravings for it after awhile, trust me.

5. DJ Max Portable (Simulation)

I LOVE THIS GAME TOOOO MUCH! I love it since I love all rhythm games in the world like beatmania, rock fever and stuffs. I love this and I can play this all day long because it's so fun and I love it! WOOHOOOOO

Recommended Games

QUOTE

Burnout Legends + Dominator[5]
Metal Gear Solid : Portable Ops [5]
Jeanne D'Arc [4]
Final Fantasy Tactics : War Of The Lions [3]
Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command [3]
Lumines [3]
Loco Roco [3]
Metal Gear Acid 1 + 2 [2]
Tekken Dark Resurrection [2]
Monster Hunter Freedom 1 + 2 [2]
Ace Combat : Skies Of Deception [2]
DJ Max Portable 1 + 2 [2]
Silent Hill : Origins [2]
Worms Open Warfare 1 + 2 [2]
Virtual Tennis 3 [2]

Castlevania [1]
Crisis Core : Final Fantasy VII [1]
Darkstalkers [1]
Dead Head Fred [1]
Diner Dash [1]
Disgaea : Afternoon Of Darkness [1]
Dragon Ball Z : Shin Budokai 1 + 2 [1]
Finder Love : Aki Hoshino [1]
GoW: Chains of Olympus [1]
Grand Theft Auto : LC/VC Stories [1]
Gundam Battle Chronicle [1]
Juiced 2 : Hot Import Nights [1]
Mind Quiz [1]
Pro Evolution Soccer Series [1]
Puzzle Bobble [1]
Ratchet And Clank : Size Matters [1]
SEGA Rally Revo [1]
SOCOM Tactical Strike Series [1]
SOCOM U.S. Nave SEALs Series [1]
Star Wars Rouge Squadron [1]
Street Fighter Alpha 3 [1]
Syphon Filer : Logan's Shadow / Dark Mirror [2]
Tales Of The World : Radiant Mythology [1]
Valhalla Knights [1]
Valkyrie Profile : Lenneth [1]
