my laptop is compaq presario CQ40..
i bought this laptop 1.5 years ago together with the HP care pack (3years extended warrranty)..
now i am having some problem with the laptop battery and adaptor..

initially..the battery is shown recharged 100% fully..however..after i removed da adaptor for about 10 mins..the laptop turn off automatically due to low battery level (but low battery notification was not appeared..i dunno why)..

then i was using adaptor for few weeks..now suddenly the adaptor cannot function anymore..i cant on my laptop by using AC current..

i dunno what has happened..so should i go hp service center to make a complaint??
are adaptor and battery under warranty??
please help meeeeeeeee..i need the laptop urgently to do lots of assignments..submisstion time is around the corner..
