need help for unifi connection

Hello fellow LYN forummers,

I hav a problem to connect my new pc with network cable, it's keep show me "unidentified network" on my pc, here the situation :

*my modem is from tm(Huawei echolife HG8240w), wifi router (networks L7-N-R2000)

*I can connect to Unifi with wifi connection(both handphone or laptop), can login to router login screen with ip 192.168.0.1

*the lan cable need plug to which devices? modem or router? on which port? I heard port 4 is reserve for hyppo tv right?

*can I just use my modem for my lan connection, so I just need to turn on wifi router when needed, save some electric

*is there anything value I should type in to make it work?

*how to enjoy the unifi 30mb to 50mb, is it for everyone? or onlycertain ppl?

warranty claim for cease business shop

i got a gtx460 having artifacts problem, the card is still under warranty till december, bought it lowyat forumer (he bought it from cex), receipt lost but got a warranty sticker on the back of graphic card, since cex is cease of business, what can i do?

as title, is it possible to claim warranty without receipt for my Phenom2 955be(c3 stepping)?

i bought from forumer (ehteoh) mar 2010, he post the proc to me but without receipt, contact him many times and get something like "i try to find it" "i try ask the shop to reprint" "sorry, busy this week" and bla bla bla...... , the proc is working fine now but worry bad luck someday ..

*how much i need to pay if i ask lowyat shop to help calim the warranty?

is 4mb bb plan need to pay rm80 installation fee?? can be waive?

tm guy said it's use for technician to test my house capable to use 4mb then they will install it, the question is what is the technician really do while installation? coz last time i apply streamyx(with own modem) i install the modem and driver by myself, that "technician" just come and said something like "oh, you sudah pasang sendiri..." then he make a call to activate my account... so the call charge me rm75

today around 2pm i went to lowyat buy my new mobo, after some research by collect the price lists, i go to Prestige IT and ask a malay salesman for the mobo then i tell the selesman i want to buy the new packaging design one, but he insist to sell the old one only and said "Kalau you tak mau, you pergi kedai lain la" sound like i begging to buy it from his shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
then i just walk awayand swear i never go back to this shop again!!!!!!!!!

*The mobo(M4a785TD-V evo) got 2 design, and i saw it on the rack inside the shop so sure i want the new one. other shop sell it Rm5~10 more expensive than Prestige IT

i just bought a phenom2 x4 940(12/sep/2009, thundermatch) from johnsilvermoore, after few day of testing, the processor r unstable. so i decide to claim the warranty, but the problem is johnsilvermoore not giving me the original fan so i got proc, manual, box, receipt only,can i still can claim the warranty from thundermatch??

945gc chipset use much more power and release more heat than atom processor is one disadvange of D945gclf/2/2d, but is anyone try to use gmabooster to under clock the 945gc chipset to lower MHz(945gc 400MHz 22w, 945GSE 133MHz 5.5w) so we can save more power and even take out the noisy fan.
*i dont hav D945gclf/2/2d, so hope who own this mobo can try the software gmabooster and share the result.

Planing to build a mini-itx pc,here some question to ask

1. just like title except intel D945gclf/2/2d , any other available mini-itx board in malaysia market? i surf the net and found out some other mobo with higher quality, cheaper price than D945gclf2.. (some model even can use dc power without buying something like picoPSU) but most of them cant find in malaysia market......

2. where can buy smaller PSU/picoPSU(or similar) in malaysia???
