WTA - Dead pixel on a newly bought Nex7

I'm not sure am i posting on a correct place.
But i do hope to get some feed back from all the members here.

I bought one NEW unopened box of Sony Nex7 kit lens set from one of the LYF member here with a shop at BBplaza on date 18-7-12.
On the 1st day i got the camera, the first thing i did is to charge the new battery for 4-8 hours as mention by the seller.
On the 2nd day when the batt is fully charged & i put it in the nex7 body, the first thing i saw on the LCD screen was a dead pixel!!

Immediately i called the shop regarding this issue & request for a 1 to 1 replacement as i only got the camera for 2days. But the LYF member who attended me during the purchase quoted that the sony salesman mention "If there is any issue on the camera, the first thing to do on the faulty camera is to send to the service centre to check for the errors". Ok, from the understanding for what he mention, i called sony centre hotline 1300-88-1233. During the conversation with the operator, i highlighted the dead pixel issue on my newly bought nex7 & i asked is it possible to get it replace for another new one as i only got the camera for 2 days!! But what they answer me is, "for the replacement of another new set, you need to talk with the shop where you purchase the camera."

After i got this reply, i called the shop again & the staff still saying the same thing, asking me to go back to the service centre at KLCC. Considering of the need of using the camera by next weekend, i have no other choice to send to the service centre justnow around 5pm, when i am there, i mention to the front desk person who attended me about the one to one replacement, she answer back the same thing, which asked me to refer back to the place i bought the camera.

Is this a case where start to push the responsibility to each other when i caught in between?!
What should i do?!! By my understanding, all electronic products are entitle for one to one replacement during the first 7 days right!?

Putting the disappointment of can't use the newly bought camera for a week, i strongly feel that i got the rights to ask for a replacement unit as i only own the camera for 2days right?!

Need all advise on what should i do for my next step! I heard that there is one department where we can make complains on this kind of issue.

PLEASE ADVISE ME~~~

Problems encounter on received Waja CPS
1. Front fender squeezing sound
2. Alignment not properly done + tyre balancing is out, steering will shake after 110km/h
3. Buzzing sound from dash board after rpm reach 2.5k-3k
4. Front passenger side wiper couldn't hold the wiper properly, after fix back it still came off
5. Air-con compressor when active tat time will have "klok klok klok" sounds
6. AT cars having problem on "check engine" light
7. 5 case of PW incident happened ATM... 1. glass drop and break 2. glass lift fail to operate 3. short circuit on the PW control on door panel

FC for waja - [roughtly 0.16-0.18] + 40%= 0.23-0.25 cent/km(depends on the driver)
