Hi all

I'm creating this topic to highlight the problem that my grandfather encountered

I had a look at his itemised billing for his prepaid plan and noticed RM2 being deducted for Shemaroo DOB subscription every week

Because I am paying for his prepaid plan, this has cost me a loss of about RM30+

My grandfather is definitely not someone who would be interested in anything related to shemaroome

I called up the prepaid phone company and they told me they cant do anything about it and asked me to email Shemaroo to unsubscribe

I did some googling and noticed that many are having such issues and have no idea how to unsubscribe from this scam:

How to unsubscribe: (similar to the article linked above)
1. download the Shemaroo app from PlayStore or AppStore
2. Sign in with your phone number that is linked to the unwanted subscription
3. Navigate to the subscriptions option, you'll be (un)surprised to see that your number has an existing subscription which is the most expensive option on the list
4. Unsubscribe and pray you dont get scammed again

Dont forget to check your itemised billing frequently

I lazy to report to SKMM, therefore I'm posting here for others be aware of this scam

I bought a laptop from official Shopee store.

What should I do to check if my laptop is still inside? And not magically disappear

A. Sign the courier ticket, and open up immediately while the courier dude gets in the car and drive away

B. Open up the package then confirm the items then only sign

I know these days the cases of missing items are dropping but I’d wanna be sure on the procedure these days

Ah Mat bought an oven from online store

He excited open the package and then plug the oven to wall socket. It no turn on

Then he try another wall socket, it still no turn on

Then another, also no turn on

Then Ah Mat open up the oven and see what happen

He found that the circuit isn’t complete. The live and neutral wire isn’t hooked up to the oven circuits
The earth wire appears grounded

Could Ah Mat have died if the live wire touch the body of the oven while Ah Mat was handling it?
