- Given the poslaju tracking code of EN159126009MY . JUANBILL claimed that the postage alone cost him RM89.46....

- still no parcel received. Parcel status not updated since 28 July. On Poslaju website stated

- 230pm - called Poslaju customer service 1-300-300-300 to double check, From their database record showed that my parcel has arrived at K.Kinabalu on 29 July 2010. So I thought can wait till Monday then lodge another complaint to Poslaju if the parcel didn’t reached me by then.

3 August 2010
-12 pm - still no parcel received..decided to call the K.Kinabalu Poslaju HQ for my parcel status. To my surprise the Poslaju HQ claimed that my address was not properly written so they asked me to collect it myself at their HQ.

-1pm – - Asked JUANBILL for copy of Poslaju slip. I didn’t tell him anything about the condition of the parcel he sent me.

-2 pm – Arrived at Poslaju HQ. Asked for my parcel EN159126009MY. Waiting about 10 minutes, then a Poslaju staff (Miss Shan) asked me to follow her into the Poslaju warehouse to help her identified my parcel.
This is the look of my parcel when I first seeing it. I was shell shocked....as far as I know no Post Office would have accepted if the parcel was not properly wrapped with “kertas minyak” or using their Poslaju official box.

After checking the box thoroughly, I saw no sign of tear on every corner of the box. The original sealed wasn’t cut although it was really loose. Only at top of the box there’s one small gaping hole. When shaking the box can hear sound coming a newspaper inside.
The way the parcel is packed is really questionable here. Sorry to say that for a supposed trustable seller, his wrapping skill is really not good enough for an expensive item.

I took the pic of every corner of the box to prove that the box was still intact when first delivered to me except for the hole at top before allowing the post office officer to carefully cut open the box. Here’s what was inside the box

I wonder how how PS3 Slim box could be taken out without opening the whole box??

On the poslaju slip my H/P no was written as Zero One Nine Three One Eight Nine Four Two Two instead of Zero One Nine Three One Eight Nine Four Two Three. Not suprisingly Poslaju can’t contact my H/P…Is this coincidence or JUANBILL deliberately written so???

-9am – went to K.Kinabalu Post Office HQ again to further the investigation. Noticed that on the Poslaju slip the stated parcel weight was only 745 g!! I placed the parcel on HQ weighing machine – it’s 745g !!! the similar weight which was written by Tambun Post Office worker. ..

notice the similarities in handwriting style…the person who wrote the weight is the same person who wrote the postage fee…

- Miss Shan explained that if a parcel is more than 30 cm in height but weighing much less say <1 kg....automatically the parcel is entitled for their mass weight calculation to determine their postage fee…this is how the figure 4.836 came from

The formula is HEIGHT(36cm)* LENGTH(31cm)*WIDTH(26cm) / 6000 (density??) = Weight = 4.836 kg

The 36,31,26 writing on volumetric section is done by officer at Ipoh Poslaju HQ not by the post office worker at Tambun Mini Post Office..So I assumed that the officer in charge at Ipoh Poslaju HQ was wondering why for a 745g of parcel cost as much as RM89.46? Therefore they need to double check??

For 4.863 kg item the Poslaju rate between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah is as below (Pls correct me if I’m wrong)

(Fuel surcharge+handling charge+GST)
RM51 + (0.25*RM51)
= RM51 + RM12.75
= RM63.75

RM63.75 is way below RM89.46 that JUANBILL has paid.

Now the only suspect I can think of is the worker at Tambun mini post office who did pick up the original parcel from JUANBILL. .There is no 745g figure on JUANBILL Poslaju Slip..Only on the Poslaju slip that been sent to me there’s note stated the parcel was 745g written by the same person who wrote the postage fee….

So, JUANBILL in order to clear your name/reputation please help me by lodge report to Post Office HQ near your place. Please give full cooperation in finding the real culprit. I’m living in Sabah doing farming business but my hometown in Kuala Lumpur….so no problem if I have to come down to Ipoh to solve this issue…I’m really determine to nail down this mofo

However it’s also your fault for not properly wrapping the parcel before sending to me. ….For an experienced seller like you u must know it is highly risky sending an item in such way u did…if the case isn’t settled…you will be held responsible for what happen here and I want full refund...

-JUANBILL asked for copy of Kota Kinabalu Post Office police report..insist that investigation still ongoing and he need that police report for his dad to show to Ipoh Post Office HQ
-He promised to refund my money once he lodged his police report and get clearance from Post Office.

JUANBILL pm'ed he already past the report to ipoh main HQ...and if I in urgent need of money then he will refund me first.. He think this case is going to drag too long..no point holding my money as it is not entirely my fault.. Told me he's still in UK and will be going to check the exchange rate tomorrow and sent refund from UK.... Hope he fulfill his promise to refund my money back and then I will close this case

An Ipoh Poslaju staff named Fazlina (05-2553155) called me regarding the case. They told me that they still can't contact the sender/JUANBILL (JUANBILL still in UK)....I explained that JUANBILL father is the one that sent the parcel in the first place and they should get the info from him...but they said that the JUANBILL's father never made a case report to them and they do not have his contact number

-Sought help from one of the ELITE (trade enforcer) to trace down the last IP Address JUANBILL used to logged in...the result

- 9.31am - JUANBILL claimed that he already refund my money on Friday 27/8/2010...my Maybank bank statement as of 9.31am 1/9/2010 showed that the supposed refund is not received yet...but I will check again on Friday 3/9/2010 as it normally will take up to 3 days for international transaction

UPDATE 7/9/2010

- JUANBILL refunded RM2050 to me via Maybank online.
- CASE SETTLED!!!!
