Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 on Q9450

Hi. I just bought a
GA-X48-DQ6 mobo coupled with a
Q9450 2.66GHz. The RAM is
Corsair XMS DTH 800Mhz 4-4-4-12 2*2Gb. The HDD is
Seagate SATAII 500GB

I installed Vista and all goes smooth. Until I sleep the system. The system goes to sleep , then I cannot wake it up by any means (keyboard/mouse/power switch). The system keeps turn on and off each 5 sec ( the fan, LED, mobo and so on ).

I turn it off and start again, no problem dy. And vista have no problem resuming my work ( no errors on loading )

Please help me !!!!!! This is too high end I cannot afford another lost...

Erm, I am a newbie in OCing. I don't wanna OC like reach 3.5 la and so on. I just want your opinion see this rig can be optimized anot. Thx

|| Gigabyte ODIN PRO 550W

|| Gigabyte 9600GT 512MB
|| LG SecureDisk Combo Drive
|| Samsung BWX 17" Monitor

I didn't OC now, so I wanna ask if this system can be further optimized? Because when the Vista Ultimate load from coldboot it took a long time ( 15 sec ).

Besides I haven't got keyboard mouse and speaker. Hope can get any reckon here. Thx Thx!!

Hi everyone,

I need a new computer that have the major specs like below

CPU : Q9550
RAM : 2GB and above (DDR3, 1600 MHz)
HDD : 500GB SATA 7500RPM (3Gb/s)
MOBO : Whatever that suits the above and 1600MHz FSB (maybe the GA-X48T-DQ6)
PWR : Whatever As long as it suits
GPU : nVidia GeForce 8800GT

Purpose : MultiTasking, Programming, Gaming

if the above specs looks wierd please advise, I am a newB in all these mix and match work..

and of course, budget is in tight, so please advice if can to reduce cost. Thank you!
