I ordered a new sofa and made a full payment to avoid GST as i need the sofa in June 2015. I double confirmed with the sale person that no GST will be charged once full payment done.

The shop policy allow item to be delivered in 3 months from the date of purchased. But now suddenly the shop said their policy changed and must to charge GST if i want to deliver later than 1st April, but i had already made full payment.

Is it legal? They say only invoice when they deliver the item but since i already full payment, isn't they should have the invoice right now but the Delivery Order (DO) later that do not carry any value amount?

Have you ever attended a birthday or what so ever party in club, nice enough for clubbing but same time, i still manage to have a private corner to cut cake and chit chat?

simple talk is, i want clubbing + enough space for gathering (about 10+ person) as i want to make a birthday celeb for my GF.

Malaysia is truly shopping haven, start from small for those SOGO, then come to Sg Wang, then Pavillion We seems like getting more and more shopping mall. We are get used to all this nice, spacious mall...

How about those little shopping mall, which some after many years still not being known by us, can they survive?

Can list down what old little shopping mall that u went before?

Regret of accepted a scholarship?

I got a friend, accepted a scholarship offered by a GLC with the condition of bondage after graduation. Now, he cant accept the working environment. Most of the college is Tai Chi master, no one do their own job. In a meeting, people pushing job around including the boss. Who ever contribute an idea, then the one have to do all the job.

My friend is a top student last time in uni, but under such environment, he got no choice but to work super low efficient, do only his job scope, if not people will push job to him since he able to finish work fast. Such a big GLC, all this thing is happen and happen again.

But he got no choice but to serve the bondage, else pay back the >130K money in lump sum. He feel so frustrated with such a company. He ever think of selling off his kidney to pay back the company and cabut!

Its a tragedy, not every big company offer a great scholarship, a bondage doesnt guarantee a bright future. When the company has too much of people come in, their will just let u rot in a department you dont like. And after many years of serving without any chances of changing department, that's it for your whole life doing something you dont like.

Do you all have friends face such a thing and got solution? Please dont mind to share here, so that my friend got a chance to change his life.

Repair a 21-year-old Proton Saga

Hi all, i had an idea to "Refurbish" my 21-year-old proton saga thoroughly, including engine part(overhaul), suspension including tyre, everything!

I prefer this way rather than buying a new car because of my car is using for short distance travel only. What i need is a reliable workshop, and an experienced mechanic will do.

Do you guys have any experience in any workshop that had your best ever car-repair experience?

Please suggest me some workshops in the klang valley area.

foreigner to buy property in Malaysia

I have a middle east friend would like to look for some property in malaysia for investment. I heard that there is a minimum price of property they allow to buy rite? I am not sure is there any regulation for foreigner on it. Howver, the house is sole for investment, not for him to stay.

Any one heard such a regulation before? Thank you very much.

My computer was running stable all the time, suddenly, my computer just couldnt get online at all.

I didnt really care about it as my office had just install an IBM server which had blocked some of my college's internet connection for the purpose to "increase" their working efficiency.

So, I tested my laptop by using the same LAN port, the internet is worked.

I had confirmed from my admin that my internet connection is not barred. Besides that, I found that by shut down the “Trend Micro internet security 2010 “ (Genuine copy), the internet is back again.

So, I reinstall the anti virus, this time, the internet connection is back, but my trend micro couldn’t get online update anymore, with reason : no internet connection
