Hi. I tried looking around the forum but can't find any thread which lists down which cafe has Unifi installed. So, I'll start one here. So far, I only know of one. Anyone who knows of any cafe with unifi, would be good to list it down here.

Pappa Rich, Kota Damansara

Asus Tech Support Totally Disappointing

I will cut it short and simple.

- March 2008 : bought Asus P535 pda phone
- June 2008 : Many times, the screen will draw a line automatically when you write something.
- August 2008 : Screen problem not fixed yet. Now, cannot activesync. Can detect device but just cannot sync.
- October 2008 : Cannot send MMS. Configure how also cannot send.
- December 2008 : Send for repair.

- January 2009 : Got back device. They changed the screen and entire motherboard. Everything in working condition.
- April 2009 : PDA totally cannot power on at all. Can charge but cannot power on. Reset (soft and hard reset) also doesn't work. Send for repair.
-> Warranty expired and repair bill is RM900. I complained to Asus Taiwan and Taiwan instructed KL to repair for free.
- End of april 2009 : Got back PDA and all in working condition.
- August 2009 : Screen problem came back. Try to write, sometimes the f-ed up screen will draw a line making me write rubbish letters out. Called Asus KL and contacted Asus Taiwan again because Asus KL awaits instruction from Taiwan. Here is the mail.

I can't believe the immense lousy quality of this PDA that I bought, consider it's from Asus, a worldwide company. So typical of how China/HK/Taiwan/etc. produces products, which is of the shittiest quality.
Worst yet, I can't believe how the treated me as a customer. I will be contacting the Consumer Tribunal really soon.

I've since told my friends to stay away from Asus products, albeit not all are of the shittiest quality, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Totally pissed.

MAIL START --->
--- On Tue, 9/29/09, Jerry wrote:

From: Jerry
Subject: Re: Re: <TSD> Support Web - Webpage Error and Prompt [ID=RTM2009091100579-296]
To: Manager_TMSS@asustek.com.cn, tsd@asus.com.tw
Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2009, 5:53 PM

I have send this mail some weeks back and it's been more than 2 weeks and no reply. Is this how Asus handle their customers? This is truely disappointing.

--- On Mon, 9/14/09, Jerry wrote:

From: Jerry
Subject: Re: Re: <TSD> Support Web - Webpage Error and Prompt [ID=RTM2009091100579-296]
To: Manager_TMSS@asustek.com.cn
Date: Monday, September 14, 2009, 2:21 PM

Manager,
I am very disappointed with how Shearly handle my case. I have already explained everything to her and all she reply me is to call Asus Malaysia. I have already call Asus Malaysia and they have told me what I have told Shearly. Please refer to my earlier mail as attached and please advise accordingly. Screen defect is a manufacturer's defect and this should be repaired at no cost to me, the customer. I have been facing many problems ever since I bought this PDA in March 2008.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From : Jerry
Sent : 2009-9-11 22:45:27
To : "tsd@asus.com.tw"
Subject : Re: <TSD> Support Web - Webpage Error and Prompt [ID=RWTM200909101229286232-493]

[CASEID=TM2009091100579]

I know where is the service center in Malaysia, KL. I know for sure that the KL
service center will charge me for repairing the screen unless you tell them to repair it
for free. By right, this is a manufacturer's defect.
