I would like to know. How to use Monitor speakers with Laptop ? I connected the VGA cable from the laptop to the monitor successfully and the monitor works fine. But there is no sound ?

Are there any additional cables needed ?

Laptop : Acer 4820 tg
Monitor: Asus VH242H 23.6"

I am a Malaysian working in Australia (just finished Uni in Aus), the console in Australia is very expensive due to currency conversion rate. My friends coming back to Australia said that they can bring PS3 back for me. I was wondering I should get the SG or Malaysia set ? I wanna ask you all so far SG set / Malaysian set got many problems ? Cause very hard for me to claim warranty anyways. Only going to Malaysia twice a year.
