People keep saying, just follow and do what the boss wants. Don't fight back. How long can you tahan being treated like in school and negative/derisive replies from boss?

I don't know whether someone else posted this topic before or not. But I just want you all to share what's the reason of the break up, whether you'e moved on or not, whether it was 10yrs ago or happening now, let's share!

Well for me it's because she got annoyed with me and couldn't stand me anymore and she decided to broke up with me. What's yours?

Group Travel accommodation 40-50pax

Hi folks,

Can anyone recommend any beach resort in the peninsula that is recommended for a 40-50 pax reunion? I know that some places in PD have huge bungalows to accommodate at least 10 people, but other than PD, any ideas? Most resorts only provide 2-per-room accommodation and that kinda beats the whole "togetherness" concept.

Actuarial science pathway

Hi all!

I've look around the forum and also other forums about actuarial science and how do i go there. also other websites. I'm taking SPM 2008, so after this i'd like to go towards actuary. I prefer to plan everything and see the whole picture. So, I've chosen to do SAM after SPM because it's the fastest, ie 1 yr. Here's one ques, is it that only Taylor's SAM is of quality? is there any other cheaper ones? I forgot the other college offering SAM.. Anybody? I also found out about Olympia College offering SAM. How's that?

After that, I'm gonna study bachelor degree on AS right? My friend got the Great Eastern Scholarship and he's working there now. He was offered 7yr-bond with that company. What do u guys think bout that? It that fine?

If I don't get this scholarship, what do i do? where do i take my degree?

- can I go to US? do the unis recognize SAM?
- or I only can study in msia? Where to?

If I get this scholarship, which uni in US should i choose? anyone recommend? I know that to do actuary one have to choose the society, ie America, UK or Aussie, all are recognized equally internationally. UK is out for me, it's too expensive. I'm looking into US, seems better then Aussie i think, is that so? I know that i do not have to take degree but pass the exams, but i want to study in uni, i can't imagine me studying myself.

How long is it doing degree for AS? 4 yrs?

After degree:
If i'm in the bond, i have to work in Great Eastern right? How bout after that? what options? I'd lik to work local.

If i'm not in the bond, that's...5 yrs later. What do i do? just find a job like that? Can someone shine some light for me? How exactly do i find a job? newspapers? or just wait for jobstreet.com? lol. I would like to have the list of jobs that i can do, if anyone can bagi... Hahah... I'd lik to work local.

Exams:
I wanna be in SOA though, my friend's in Aussie's. Is there any cons on that? Anybody under SOA?
So.. How can i actually take the exams? US send the papers here? i send money there?? where??

Err... maybe that's for now... thanks guys.. share some experiences, too. I like maths and i like the challenges. I'm bored with maths and add maths in spm liao.. no challenge. That's why i think AS suits me. I lik spending time with comps also, but seems lik i need to learn some skills on stats software.

One more thing, i rmbr look here look there i ada lihat diaorang kata.. when studying AS can 'lean' on sides? like towards stats, towards econs,or towards finance. Is that true?

Where can I buy a notebook CPU?

So, I have a HP dv5201TX notebook. It's now using Core Duo T2400 @ 1.83GHz. I think of upgrading the processor since with a BIOS update my notebook can support Merom processors (Core 2 Duo). Is there a place where I can buy a merom processor here, in Malaysia? If possible, what's its Name and Address and E-mail? Thanks!
