Malah Fara Marcella sebelum ini pernah dibuang sekolah ketika di tingkatan empat akibat masalah kehadiran, namun mendaftar kembali dan melanjutkan persekolahan pada tingkatan lima atas inisiatif diri.

Bagaimanapun dia yang tidak hadir ke sekolah hampir dua bulan mendapat suntikan semangat daripada guru disiplin berkenaan yang menawarkan tempat tinggal bersamanya untuk menduduki SPM.

Kisah keluarga berkenaan dikongsikan menerusi laman sosial berikutan kedaifan hidup pelajar berkenaan selepas terpaksa berkeja di warung burger, selain ibu serta enam adik beradiknya menumpang di pusat snuker di Masai.

Some mainstream news channels have been recently caught carrying dubious footage from Syria. It fuels the debate over media’s role in legitimizing possible military intervention in the country.

‘Danny’ is a Syrian opposition activist who reports from Homs for CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya. He is attached to the opposition movement and regularly calls for military invasion of Syria. He’s identified as Danny Abdul Dayem, a 22-year-old British citizen of Syrian origin.

In a video leaked online, Danny appears to be falsifying a video broadcast for CNN. Prior to going on air, he requests colleagues to fire weapons to dramatize his Live report with Anderson Cooper. Though he denied any wrongdoings in an interview to CNN after the video went viral, his reliability as a verified news source was called into question.

Banana leaf restaurant for dummies

Regardless whether you go to banana leaf restaurants (BLR) frequently, once in a while or have never been to one, here are some important things that you should know. Understanding these facts will make your next visit to a BLR more fruitful. BLR generally serve delicious food – so knowing what makes them tick and how they operate is a useful thing.

1. Banana leaf restaurants are Indian restaurants where the meal is served on a banana leaf. They do NOT sell banana leaves. You don’t go there to eat banana leaves either.

2. At a BLR, you are supposed to eat with your fingers. Only sissies eat a banana leaf meal using fork and spoon. In fact, only the sissiest of the sissies using cutlery. Normal people will use their fingers, hands and in some cases, the real macho Indian machas will even use their elbows. BLR is a feast not only for the stomach but also for the entire arm. Licking of your fingers, palms and (sometimes elbows) is encouraged. You will make the owners very happy.

3. A good BLR will serve you lots of condiments – from pickled chili to pickled lime and deep fried vegetables. Eat them all. A respectable BLR will serve you fried bitter gourd (peria). If they don’t serve you the fried bitter gourd, stop going there. They are traitors to the BLR the world over.

4. In the past, you could have as much rice, vegetables and papadum (tambah nasi, tambah sayur, tambah papadum) as you wish for the same price. Now the buggers have gotten smart. Many BLR now charge extra for these #@#@$#@.

5. All waiters in BLRs, all over the world, are deaf. You have to call them 238 times before they attend to you.

6. The BLRs are not exactly known for their service. You go there to eat. Not to be serenaded. Out of 10 visits, you can expect bad service 3 times and terrible service 6 times and good service once, if you are lucky and it is the owner’s grandmother birthday.

7. There is a 87% chance that the waiter will spill curry on the table and a 45% chance that you will smear your shirt with that curry.

8. There is no such thing as teh tarik kurang manis or nescafe kurang manis. All drink are MANIS. It does not matter what you ask for – the waiter will bring you the sweetest drink on the planet.

9. You must pray that the cook does not come out of the kitchen. If you see the cook, I guarantee you will never eat in the BLR again. To be really safe, don’t even look at the kitchen. Find a seat that faces away from the kitchen. Trust me on this one.

10. In a BLR, the Chinese are the King because they love to eat and they love to order all types of meat and fish. Good business for the owners. The Indian and Malay fellows are second class customers because they usually don’t order as much. Like everywhere else, business is business – the restaurant takes good care of its highest paying customers. [if you go and order just vegetarian meal, they will sit you under the stairwell and chase you out after 8 minutes].

11. A BLR meal is only complete if you have rasam (indian version of tomyam), tairu (yoghurt), lots of papadum and drink moru (light yogurt drink). After the meal, you must have a cup of masala tea (no need to ask for kurang manis).

12. After a BLR meal, you need to wash your hands at least three times because the smell of the curry will stick to your hands like superglue. Once I had to wash my hands five times after having a fierce crab curry. That’s the power of the Indian spices. [precaution : after eating a spicy BLR meal, do not dig your nose]

Zuhairi berkata kemalangan dipercayai berlaku apabila kereta Perodua Myvi yang datang dari arah Kuala Pilah dan kereta Perodua Kelisa yang datang dari arah Seremban bertembung di lokasi.

Kemalangan terbabit turut menyebabkan kereta Perodua Kelisa tesebut putus dua.

Zuhairi berkata selain 16 anggota dari Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat (BBDP) Senawang dan Seremban, operasi menyelamat turut dibantu oleh Angkatan Pertahanan Awam dan pihak polis.
