Hey folks, just wanted to share a video i made for my son with his Iron Man costume.
The style is what you would normally get in anime's and stuff.

This video was shot using Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
VFX were done using photoshop and after effects.
It was edited using Sony Vegas Pro 11.. Sony vegas has always been my number 1 choice for video editing.

I would be more than happy to share with all of you how it was done, given you folks are interested.

Toddler not eating ?

My son is about 1 year 4 months old now. Lately he hasn't been eating much.

Here's an interesting article for those of you who are experiencing the same ordeal.

What To Do When Your Toddler Won't Eat ?

This morning my wife and I let him "play" / eat his food by himself.
To our surprise this actually got him to eat!

Any of you guys had similar experiences ?

Hey folks, I saw a few discussions back then about Stand Up comedy in Malaysia and its cool to know some of you actually want to know more about it.
I'll be honest, the scene is still is new, however the comedians are very talented.

I dedicate this thread to be the 101 of Stand Up Comedy in Malaysia for lowyat.net.
Will updates events and open mics happening. The rest of you are encouraged to add in as well.

The Comedy Club KL

Event : Kings and Queens of Comedy Asia.

Date : 23rd October 2010

Starring : Kumar the Drag Queen (Sin), Hung Le (Aus), Harith Iskandar (Mas), Douglas Lim (Mas) and Vin Der (India)

This is the grand daddy of stand up comedy in KL. Comedy Club KL hosts the most entertaining comedians around Asia.
Kings and Queens of Comedy Asia is set to launch the 2nd season of Comedy Club KL.

TimeOutKL Comedy Thursday

Event : TimeOut KL Magazine Comedy Thursday.

Date : Every 1st Thursday of every month!

Location : Zouk, KL

Price : RM 25, RM 15 (if register online)

TOKL is my personal favorite, you get to see up and rising stand up comics. Headliners include Kavin Jay, Chi Ho, Jenhan, Papi Zak, Steve Northcott and Jeremiah.
Comedy Thursday is also a platform for newbies who want to give stand up comedy a shot.
You get 3 minutes each, up to 4 newbies get to try out.
The best one gets a slot and 10 minute shot at the next TOKL Comedy Thursday gig.

Monti & Logi

Monti & Logi are pretty well known. One of the pioneers I would say apart from Indi and Allan.
Occasionally they have workshops done under The Actors Studio now located in Lot 10.
It's a 101 class about stand up comedy and you get a shot on the Actors Studio Open Mic.

Any related events from these duo will be updated here.

Comedy Court - Allan and Indi

Perhaps one the most well known comedy duo in Malaysia.
They recently performed at the Celebrities Hall of Music.

PJ Live Arts Theater

PJLA hosts the best of what our stand up comedy scene has to offer. From Harith Iskandar to MACC as well as Comedy Club KL.
Situated at Jaya One, I personally feel that its the next "Actors Studio".

Canon HV20 / HV30 Camcorder Thread

Hey guys, first and foremost, I'm starting this off here because HV20 / HV30 is by far one of the best dang consumer camcorder out there!

i have no idea how many of you guys out there use it, but slap a DOF adaptor on it and the camcorder works wonders!!

Hey all, I realised that there wasn't a thread for our good ol' heroes in the half shell.
If there is, my apologies.

Anyways, since Neca came out with their comic version of the turtles, I'm pretty sure a lot of ppl have gone back collectin' our good ol' green dudes.
Here are some pics of what I currently have.

I'll keep updated, I'm keen on collecting more n more. Let's make this thread an enjoyable one. If you have anything, do share, whether it's the neca tmnt, the recent cgi movie related tmnt, the vintage tmnt, any ol skool movie merchandise, lunch boxes etc etc.

All above are complete with weapons and accessories, I have yet the time to mix and match them.
The Neca ones are on my shelf, haven't had the time to take pics of them.
