WTB Macbook Pro 2009 Charger

Im looking for an original albeit cheaper charger for my macbook pro 2009 model.

Anyone selling the chargers please let me know. The original is RM 400 plus if im not mistaken.

Mods, Pls advise if this is the wrong area to post.

Cleaning Your Mac

Hi everyone

Was wondering what products you use to clean your mac and how do you clean it.

I know its been covered previously on other posts but there's one item i dont see being discussed.

Just to compare, the Iklear is RM 88, the quality i believe is vouched by many,

and there is now there is this product called Topper LCD Cleaning Screen Kit, RM 35

Anyone has used it ? care to share their thoughts on the Topper product ?

All MacBook Heat Comparison

Hey Y'all

Im a 13inch MBP Summer 2009 Release

I was wondering if you all wouldnt mind sharing whats your Mac temps like and how do you reduce it.

At very little load (i.e safari, Itunes, Utorrent) my temps are

HD 38'C
CPU 56'C
Enclosure Base 37'C
Enclosure Base 2 37'C
Enclosure Base 3 38'C
Enclosure Base 4 38'C
Heatsink B 50'C
Northbridge 43'C

Is this normal ?, I think the CPU heat ( 56'C) and Heatsink B (50'C) at rather low load (safari,itunes) is rather hot no ?

Please share your opinions on the matter. All are welcomed

Watching youtube causes the temp to go to 70'C.

Sync Problem : Sharing Is Luving

Dear all,

Just a little knowledge sharing in the myriad of questions being posed in the forum.

To all newbies, keep up the good fight, ASK, ASK, KEEP ASIKING, SEARCH, GOOGLE, LEARN and SHARE, that way we will contribute back to LYN

Recently i had this problem of not being able to sync my iphone to my pc. imagine that, it had become a semi-brick, ( nice to use but cant sync music or videos through)

so i

i learnt the hard way,

i tried itunes 7.4 all the way up to 7.7... to no avail....searched up and down google and i came for to learn some of the tricks...

1) Open up the Add Remove Programs - Remove Itunes and all Itunes related programs, i.e Apple Mobile Support Device,
2) Open Task Manager - Delete all Itunes/Apple related programmes.
3) Open Program Files/Itunes - Delete Everything there.
4) Open C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxx\My Documents\My Music\iTunes - delete this too
5) Switch off your iphone Wifi - x sure how it adds up but hey, we're desperate here.
6) Restart your Iphone - hold the top button for a few seconds and slide the bar to switch off. then turn it on again
7) Restart your Iphone again- This time hold the top and the Home button and wait for phone to restart. it may seem redundant but hey it works on my experience.

8)Download and Open up Itunes 7.7
9) Sync

p/s im using 1.1.4

but none seem to work, any ideas gang?

i have tried

apn: unet

user:maxis

password: wap

still it doesnt connect, it says edge not connected .....

so please help me to set up my edge... thanks people

btw... a friend of mine suggested that i should deactivate my 3g and reactivate my gprs and edge... any ideas on how to do this other than going to maxis centre itself??
