list of good bankers for mortgage loan

Hi there,

Any good bankers that handles mortgage loans? I have walk-in to few banks and the person in charge really got a "don't care" attitude and doesn't seem keen to handle the loan.

Some of them even provide false information and some didn't even submit the loan till i called them up!

Very fed-up! Any good banker here?

ASUS BAD WARRANTY SERVICE

Referring to the subject above, i would like to inform all the fellow member of LYN not to buy any ASUS laptop due to it's bad warranty service.

I have sent a laptop for warranty claim due to a faulty hard disk and overheat issue. Few days later they called me and told me it's done, that they HAVE changed the hard disk and the fan. I have repeatedly asked them if they really have changed the fan because this overheat issue is serious and they said yes, done, complete.

So i went all the way to Lowyat Plaza to collect the laptop and upon inspection, the overheat issue still remains. I ask them if they have changed the fan and they proudly told me that the fan is not faulty and "this model is like this one" (exact words from the counter guy) now, why the hell do they tell me that have changed the fan when they did not even do anything about it? even the work sheet just stated a hard disk replacement and they did nothing on the overheat issue.

and here's the best part, upon a closer inspection i felt weird that the keyboard is so loose and when i looked closely, i got a shocked that they keyboard was detached from it's place! apparently, they removed the keyboard for no reason and pass me back in the condition below! i was so furious about this requested to speak to the manager or supervisor in charge. guess what? manager in taiwan, not here. supervisor also in taiwan, not here. and the counter guy even got the nerve to asked me to leave the laptop for few days and come and collect it back once they called me. i also requested for the technician or engineer to come and fix this issue immediately and on the spot and i was told that the engineer was in other building and cannot make it. so i asked, who is in charge here? answer that was give to me "no one in charge"

best part is there is two customer at the same time making a fuss due to the screw up service on the warranty issue. that makes 3 of us at the same time, same place. one of the customer repeatedly told them NOT to format his laptop and they went ahead and format it. another one send a ee pad for warranty claim and gotten a BLUR screen in return.

to ASUS, you can check your CCTV on your service centre regarding this case on 30th April 2012 at 4.30pm onwards.

- Request for RMA via WD Express
- Paid USD $7.50 immediately
- Appointed company NR INTELLITECH SDN BHD contact me to arrange for pick-up
- Pick-up confirmed
- Assured me that they will come and pick up even after i made a several call
- Didn't turn up at all and giving me all sort of excuse such as; cannot contact courier service, cannot find my address (how do they know they cannot find my address if they cannot contact the courier service?) ,etc
- Finally ended up with a rude message from Mr Arshad from NR INTELLITECH SDN BHD saying "no one ask you to wait" and will come whenever they are ready the following week, ask me just wait.
- Write a complain to Western Digital @ westerndigital@custhelp.com, arshad@nr-it.com, faizal.ng@sg.flextronics.com, support@wdc.com, nrit@streamyx.com
- Besides an automated reply from westerndigital@custhelp.com, no reply at all from the rest of the email recipients.
- Resend again to follow-up, no reply
- Wrote total of 7 emails, no reply
- Post a comment to follow up the case on Western Malaysia official Facebook, comment deleted in 5 minutes

Best part is my 1TB HD warranty ends on 29 February 2012. Right now, i just want the refund of USD $7.50 and yet, no one attends to it. Anyone knows where can i escalate this issue and get my refund?

I have no problem with Seagate at all when doing RMA. They have a very good customer service and very efficient. Sent RMA on 18 January 2012, item was shipped on 26 January 2012

Dear all,

Referring to the confirmation number above, i would like to cancel the RMA for this due to the incompetency of your staff Mr Arshad.

On Friday the morning of 13th January, your staff Mr Arshad called me to arrange me for the pick up of RMA #83315576. He informed me that the courier service representative will come and collect the hard drive after lunch. Therefore, i have arranged a half-day leave for my friend to be at home to ensure that the hard disk will be handed over to the courier service representative which is Nationwide Express as informed by Mr Arshad.

After waiting until 3.30pm, i made a call to your office 03-21453006 to ask about the status of the pick-up and the lady over the phone informed me that the courier service will pick-up the hard drive before 5.30pm. My friend waited until 5.15pm and yet the courier service representative is nowhere to be seen and i decide to call Mr Arshad at 03-21453006. To my horror, the reply from Mr Arshad is so unprofessional!

I was told that Mr Arshad are unable to contact the courier service for pick-up and they are not able to find my address! The question here is, if you are unable to arrange for pick-up, the least you could do is inform me so that my friend will not look like a fool waiting at home wasting his time off from the office. Secondly, are you saying from 10.30am until 5.30pm there is no one to pick-up the call, at all? If you unable to contact the courier service, how do you know they are not able to find my address?

He continued the conversation saying that "no one ask you to wait" ! Please check the telephone records for the proof of this statement.

I am truly disappointed by this incident despite paying USD $7.50 for WD Express and it actually amazed me that Western Digital has appointed such a lousy company (NR) to handle its warranty RMA. Therefore, kindly refund back the money that i have charged through my credit card.

I have been a subscribing to serverfreak for years and recently i have been receiving a lot of spam emails at my end. Those spam emails comes from 2 specific email address. So, months ago i have been writing to them requesting them to block the 2 particular emails at their end. Despite their promises and "done", i have been receiving the spam mail EVERYDAY spamming my inbox. So i write to them again, and again and again. In total, i have been writing more than 8 emails requesting them to block 2 specific emails. Not 20, 12 but 2 email address. Yes, they mentioned they have blocked it and best part is the next day my inbox was flooded the the emails again!

So this morning i wrote to them (again), asking them to block and they confidently said it has been block, done. Guess what? 2 hours later i received the same email!

Why is it so hard to block just 2 email addresses from their server?

Hi guys,
Can i know how much is the standard valuation fees? I have received a call from a valuer and the girl told me that i have to pay a sum of RM624 for a RM138k property! And i am not sure if this is a scam or what cause the so-called company fax me the quote without having a proper letterhead. Just a typing on a paper and ask me to bank in RM300 for them.

Company: KGV-LAMBERT HAMTON (M) SDN BHD

This is their quote:

Minimum fee - RM400
Disbursements - RM200
Govt Service Tac @ 6% RM24

Total RM624

FYI, i have received and sign the offer letter from the bank so i thought everything is settled. BTW, what if they valuer value the property less than my purchase price?

The F word - by Boss

Hi there,

Is your current boss a vulgar person? My friend works in a public listed company and she is reporting directly to her boss. The thing is, the boss has a very bad temper and uses F word everytime when he is not happy about something. Or when he is in bad mood for whatever reason. Now, some of you may come across bosses that uses the F word occasionally but in her case, the boss use it everytime and he use it on the most harsh and humiliating way possible in front of everyone.

Most of the time, he shouted for no apparent reason.

Eg:
Task given: Poster of new product.

Information give to my friend: none. what is the product? dunno.name of the product dunno. Price? not finalized yet. Basically information is not ready yet by the marketing department.

So this boss come and shouted on top of his lung with all the F word repeatedly why is it not done yet. So my friend explained nicely to him and worst, her boss shouted i don't care what the F happen, F you, you settle it, i don't give a F. why is done yet? F you. F you all.

Anyway, the above is just one of the many encounter that my friend have to endure everyday. And mind you, if the boss comes in with a bad mood. He can straight to to my friend's table of anyone that is in his department and scold them for with F word for nothing.

Getting scolded is part and parcel in working life whether it's your fault or not. This i can understand. But excessive vulgar words and humiliation with it is certainly unnecessary. Now, my question here is, what can we do about it? If there any organization that we complain about this? I was told using F word on a lady can be categorized as sexual harassment. Can we lodge a police report on this?

BSOD 'MEMORY_MANAGEMENT"

To all the Sifus here ,

I need some help to rectify my problem. I tried to copy a file from my external hard disk to my computer just now and suddenly there is a BSOD called " PFN_LIST_CORRUPT "

So i shut down the computer and switch it on again, then after loading the vista startup, i had the " MEMORY_MANAGEMENT " BSOD.

I can only manage to go to Safe mode to save my Minidump file and hope that you guys can assist me in solving this issue. I am pretty sure my RAM has no problem because it's new. Oh ya, i am also using a new hard disk and new motherboard. So i am not sure if it's hardware compatibility problem. Attached herewith is my Minidump file.

Hi,

I am planning to go for buffet dim sum again this weekend in KL. Can anyone recommend any nice place to eat? Budget not more than RM60 per person. I have tried calling Renaissance Hotel on their RM22++ buffet but it's all fully booked. And i have also tried the buffet in Prince Hotel last week. Any other nice place that can recommend? Not necessarily hotel, normal restaurant also will do as long as the food is nice.

By the way, i tried to search about dim sum topic but all info is quite outdated, so i figure out opening a new thread to get updated info.

Canon MP145 Catridge Carrier Stuck/Not Moving!

Guys,
Does anyone know how to fix the catridge carrier that not moving? I realize that my printer are unable to print and shows the Service Error 5100 and i google it and find out that there is a problem on the catridge/catridge carrier. So i open up my printer and realize that the catridge is not moving to the left.Usually when we open it, it will auto move to left. I tried to use some force to move it manually but it's not moving at all. Seems like it's stuck there and i am unable to do print or scan as the light will keep blinking.

This printer is only 7 months old so i guess there is still warranty but i bought this at KL so it's very troublesome for me to go all the way to claim the warranty and wait for dunno how many days till i can get back my printer. Just would like to check if i can fix this manually instead of sending it back for warranty.

Virus Attack!

anyone can help? the symptoms:

1. computer registered to Live And Let Die
2. everytime i insert a pendrive, all the data lost
3. unable to save anything in pendrive. once saved, after refresh..data is gone
3. auto create a folder lookaline icon called "mc~"
4. after format the pendrive on another pc, when i insert the pendrive to this infected pc..auto create a folder call "mc~" again
4. run command,dos command and ctrl+alt+delete is disable by this damn virus

what i have done:

1. scan with avg free (virus definition updated) - no virus detected
2. scan with nod32 (virus definition updated) - no virus detected
3. unable to run flash_disinfector
4. unable to run AntiBrontoxAen.exe - coz i thought it was the brontox virus attacking
