ball bearing turbo for 1.3 car

hi guys, as im quite noob in cars.. this is what i heard from a friend who plays performance. a myvi engine.. 1.3.. turbo.

bolted on with a ball bearing turbo. which i dont have any details on it. heightened the engine by few mm's. and the rest.. i don't know.

and the main thing i want to ask is.. he did not change the pistons of the car because it was said that the pistons are meant for turbo cars. just like passo's k3-vet engine.. just tat our malaysian made car comes with removed turbo.. but the engine pistons are just the same as that one with turbo. can anyone clarify this to me ?

and,

can this ball bearing turbo mount on a small car like myvi ? maybe boost 1.0 bar sumore.. can it withstand ?

really curious bout this mix and match setup.
