Scanner Problem

Recently i try scanning using my scanner Umax Atra 5600
the scanner doesnt light up

the power cable is totally dead

then i tried using some adapter it lighted up hoping it works but it giving me that annoying message

Please verify that you have UNLOCKED the scanner hardware. The lock is located on the bottom of the scanner .Click OK if you have unlocked the scanner

i tried many times and the scanner is not lock - it giving this pop-up
i google around doesnt help much

so if my scanner cuckoo or i must go get back the same adapter
Is it easy to get this kind of power adapter from a computer shop....

it is because of the power adapter or what? any expert helP?

my aztech EU is actually connected to a pro-link router

but unfortunately today my ethernet light is not on

i try to connect direct desktop to modem also no light

so when i on my desktop its actually dead - the LAN with the X

so currently i have no wireless connection at all too

its dead
but i connect my notebook with the USB cable - ok can get connected

only my main issue my ethernet light is not on which is connected to my desktop is dead

so what is the problem? my modem problem? my desktop network card or what?

any sifu or expert here?

anyone owe one and find it ok?

i need something portable..i guess this HP fits everything compared to Asus EEE

any problems?
