Hi all,

I need to build a video-editing pc for my company. budget not a problem here.

below are my suggestions specs:

As for PSU, Casing dan capture card , i cannot decide yet.

My important questions, what PSU that works well with mobo and GC.how many watts will work?

is there any compatibility issues with my lists?

i will install a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and Adobe Premiere CS5 Pro for editing software.

my pc just shutdown suddenly

hi all,

need your advise regarding my problem.

my spec:

Intel C2D E6550 (stock speed)
Gigabyte EP35-DS3
2 x 2GB crucial balistik tracer
Gigabyte ATI 4870HD
Silverstone Stryder ST56F

symptom:

While using my pc (surfing n listen to music), my pc suddenly shut down. then, it try to start-up itself , but fail.(this is like overclock fail).after that i switch off the main switch.

try to reboot,only HSF, GC fan, a few led on mobo, are working.

tracer ram LED, not working.

if u guys recognize, behind 4870 have 4 LED, only 3 light up.

action taken:

1. try to reboot for the first time, FAIL
2. try to reboot many time, FAIL.
3. take out 1 RAM (vice versa), FAIL.
4. change new PSU, FAIL.
5. take out GC, FAIL.
6. take out cmos battery for a while, put it back, FAIL

is it my mobo faulty? or ram?

Strider ST56F warranty issues

Hi all,

I hope this is the right place i post here..(if not. mod pls remove ya..thanks..)

I need your advice regarding my ST56F psu...

Just now, my psu kaboom..i can hear the sound, and some flash come out from psu..and suddenly pc shutdown itself.

I tried to boot-up again my pc , but no luck.

Im 95% sure this my psu faulty...but i dont have other psu to swap in..

Since im 95% sure, i sms my seller about warranty, and he tell me distibutor did not cover any blown components

So what warranty stands for??demit..

Btw, he will try to help me ..if can, i will send rma, if cannot i need to buy new psu la..

So guys, have u guys experienced like me? have u guys succesful do rma'ing??how about warranty??
