TM Unifi with ATA modem voice

I've been digging quite some sites regarding this with no answers.
It's know to pabx installers as ATA modems.

It's also a voip gateway and you'll find it installed in some office when they sent request to subscribe more than 1 telephone lines.

It's usually connected to a dlink router on port 4 that has the router associate with vlan400 for voice on that port.
Currently i'm removing the router and replacing it with a firewall.
The firewall do not have ability to configure it as WAN and tagged it with vlan400 at the same time ditching the username and password.
Since voip do not need username and password for voice.

Anyone have any experience with this ?

Such as converting one of the ports on the firewall as lan and provide internet to this voice gateway , allowing it to connect to it's gateway?

LG32GN500 vs LG32GN600

I'm only looking for VA panels and flat type . I don't like curve, it's terrible for work.
I already have 2 IPS .I just need a VA panel to be primarily for work.

I discovered this two models on the market . Both has relatively difference in price tag.
LG32GN500 is RM1100-1200.
LG32GN600 is RM1500 .

I did a check on the specs and found that the only difference is the "software calibration" .
And does software calibration refers to users own interaction by "fine tuning" the colors themselves if they are not willing to pay RM200 extra.
They both have all the features i need. Such as Reader mode.

I tried to find some reviews for this two models. Surprisingly , i was only able to dig out LG32GN500 that's only in indonesian on youtube.
LG32GN500 sells pretty well and seems to be out of stock.
LG32GN600 i'm unsure but i would like to hear anyone who possess one of these units to possibly give a review on these.

HDMI or Displayport

Hi guys.. Lookin for recommendation for choice between HDMI and Displayport cable.
My GPU only supported the below specs at the moment.
HDMI ver.2.0
Display port ver.1.2
I have plans to upgrade my gpu from GTX970 to RTX3070 next year.
I'm currently running on old MVA lcd.
I'm looking at Asus TUF 27inch lcd which unfortunately supports only VGA,HDMI and DP output only.

I noticed that manufacturers have totally got rid of DVI and only retain VGA,HDMI and Display port.
However, the number of Displayport and HDMI cables remain very limited , poor quality and expensive.

If choosing HDMI, i would look into buying Baseus but i wondered how is the quality if it were to compare against HDMI 2.0 vs DP 1.2
For DP , the choices are worse. It's so expensive and even paying over RM80 for a 3 meter cable doesn't guarantee the quality of the cable.
As i know, most are taobao imported cables that are known to perform well but tends to cause your devices to malfunction over time.

Any recommendation that do not exceed RM100 for a reliable DP/HDMI cable ?

Here's an update from me after a week of game play.

A note of advise, you're solely held responsible for being hooked to the game for over 24hrs . And i can tell you, this is really an addictive game.

Game is currently in Alpha stage. Saves will most likely be wiped later on.

The game i last heard came from the same developer/company of fornite... Maybe i'm wrong..

Let's start with the CONs.

-In game avatars are "awesomely" shit. Flintstone or simpson or toystory drawing technology ? I dunno.
-Game graphics heavily overload your gpu despite the graphics is again.. "awesomely " shit. I tune down to lowest also lag.
-Game creators claims that the game mechanics follows real science physics of gravity.
I tried to relocate a piece of tile/deck from my ship below my feet, it blasted me 30 ft up the sky for nothing. I fell to my death and my loots disappeared mysteriously.*When you died, your inventory will drop on the same spot you die*
The game has bunch of mysterious physics that'll kill you out of the blue leaving you scratching your head.
-The servers are getting bloated. Seems like increasing players are now hooked to this game. Good news for developers, bad news for players. It's causing the server to run into hiccup occassionally. This is EU/NA servers i think. I can't confirm though.

Now for the PROs.
-The game starts to get interesting once you build your ship up sailing over the sky.
-You can design your own ship and also upgrade it to be more tougher ones to challenge the various thunderstorms and violent winds later on.
-The more friends you have , the more merrier. They can hop onto your ship to go high tier maps without building their own. They can loot better items to custom tougher ships in higher tier maps as well.
-Most of your gameplay will heavily relies on traveling across different islands on your ship. This will be seriously huge map. The better upgrades your ship have, the faster it can travel.

I can't describe how much addictive the game is.. This will up to your own to try it out. But trust me, once your ship starts sailing, you find it addictive.

Here's your best materials to build your first ship.
For wood, choose Elm or chestnut if you manage to get one. You have access to elm easily in T1 maps islands. Wood seems to be readily available everywhere.
For metal, choose iron or tin if you manage to get one. You have access to iron but depends on T1 map island. Some islands have players hogging around mining points for these.

Build these things accordingly.

You'll need shipyard and assembly station first.
1.Assembly station cost 100 metals.*Use lead or bronze * to build these. I can easily get over 2000 lead and bronze in T1 island mining spawns.
2.ShipYard cost 160 metals *Same use lead or bronze* don't waste your iron on these.
You will find abandoned shipyard and assembly station quite frequently. Some'll be damaged by thunderstorms and need repairs before you can start using it.

3.Ship frames. it'll range from 280-800 metals. *Use Iron metals on these* It's light and you can add more loads to your ship.
4.Personal Reviver 274 metal *Use iron metals as well*
5.Helm 140 metal *Use iron as well*
6.Sky core 140 metals and 1 Atlas Shard. *Use iron*
7.Sail 200 Wood *use elm*

At this point. You'll have a sailing ship with not much speed and it can be very time consuming and irritating to travel across long distance islands.

Onwards you'll receive enough knowledge to craft your first engine and the propellers to give you more speed.
And next you'll need rudders or wing flaps to increase how fast your ship can gain fast increase in higher or lower altitude plus turning.

The biggest challenge is to size every of those ship parts under a weight of 1020-1080 kg limit.

optional to keep 1000 lead and 1000 bronze if you can. Dump the others you accumulate. These will be use to create shipyard and assembly station when you want to dock your ship on another island.
You can find abandon shipyard along the way. But if you want to dock on a specific spot, it's best to keep some of these leads and bronze to craft them.

You can opt to add in storage for you to store some items in the event of dying, you'll not lose your items. Your belt can store items that'll follow you even when you die. But it's not gonna be sufficient.

Ship sailing mechanics.

Use one atlas shard on the sky core . I only added one throughout my journey.. so i'm unsure if it's neccessary.
Do not touch the sail without getting prepared. Once the sail is up, it'll start moving the direction the ship face.

When visiting some T1 islands, if you'll come across one with alot of treasure chests. Try to camp it out before set sail. Each thunderstorm resets the treasure chests loots randomly. You can occassionaly find lores that'll add knowledge for you to unlock some craftings skills.

As of now latest patch. Mostly are building ship according to Lighter Weight VS resiliency/toughness. The lighter your ship, the more internal ship parts you can add.

Encoding Question

I've been recoding on some subtitles for some of my anime episodes due a request from a friend.
I came across some animes done by certain sub groups could separate the OP and ED video clips from the anime part.
The OP and ED video clips were however linked to the anime episodes without the need to merge them to every episodes causing a bulging increase in unnecessary disk space used.
If the OP and ED video clips were removed from the folder the episodes were in, it'll just play the chapters directly. But if the OP and ED were placed in the same folder, it'll play the OP and ED before going to the chapters.

Here's what i did. I extracted the subtitles from the OP and ED and tried to add in something.
After that ,i mux them back with mkvmerge on the OP video clip.
I replaced the OP with the new one i muxed with mkvmerge with a modified subtitle.
Seems that the episodes from the anime refused to link to the OP video clip i replaced with.

I believed that mkvmerge or handbrake might not be sufficient to do what i wanted.

Anyone how it's done ?

Let's start with the Cons or the Bad news first.

-The game do not have any storyline/quest and only a vague start . Roughly a brief movie cs but not skippable.(I do not know why).
-A game still in it's earliest stage and perhaps with quite a few hiccups running around it's interface. Also a poor latency .
-You get to run the game with some spooky flaws and a rough graphics.

The Good news/Pros is

-The game has many room for devising a way to survive by craft,upgrade and creating strongholds/base.
-No death penalty in PVE servers atm.
-Prices were running low at roughly RM19 before it is revised on Steam.

Overall.
-I couldn't tell much of how well the game will end up but at this moment, it has potential.
-It work best with running through a few adventures with your friends because it gets pretty boring trying to grind your way through. You'll give up eventually as a solo. But with friends, it's different story.

This Game has offline/coop mode , online mode with all game saves not related. In other words, the characters you created in offline cannot be used in the online servers.

Survival Tip
-Gun seems to be rather practical for defense.
-Some mobs have super far aggro range. Before you even notice that, you have a pack coming after you when you thought you dated one.
-Mob levels are not equally distributed. You assume that you're hitting one level 10, the rest would be almost around that range. You might have a level 33 coming after you.

There's very little information about the game at the moment. All are simply discussion. However, there's one somesort of game datas created by players that looks somesort like wiki.

I noticed that there're no discussion portal for this to cater to the problems of win10 running FF14 .

29th is the deadline for ms to plug for users upgrading from win7/8 to win10. For win8 users, you might be safe from suffering from lack of support for new software. It seems Microsoft is taking measures to monopolize the software industry by discontinuing support for win7 and below.

Here, ill start a dicussion on various problem about getting ready for win10 before getting flushed out by Microsoft legacy os support.

If you are more comfortable with win7. You can anytime check back to discuss win10 issues.

Hello coders, i've stumbled upon some task that requires me to extract permission into an excel sheet.
I do not have fundumentals on programming and extracting this permission became very clueless to me.

I've manage to extract the folder directory, users access level , read/write access , inheritance and propagation only with a picked up powershell script from google. I've tried numerous attempt to change the script but it would not reveal the creator owner of the folder.

i've been dealing with end user and soho connection for quite awhile.
But for mnc company, it's my first time tapping into something like this regarding the rates.

Basically my company had a connection remotely connected to another vendor known as orange.
Orange handles our global company's connection on a 2meg transfer rate.
We had a warehouse and it's has a lease line linking our local warehouse to our office on a 1meg transfer rate.

From what i'm informed by my respective hod, we're paying orange directly for that fee for the lease line.
For local lease line connecting both our warehouse and office, it's tmnet.

I'm kind of confuse over here.

Because from what i understand, it's like paying an air ticket to visit another country.
You do not only pay for using Malaysia airport. The air ticket comprise of charges from departing destination and also touchdown too.

Orange is not a local company. So to remotely link or lease a line to both sites together from our malaysia office to Orange, we have to pay a fee that comprises of charges from both tmnet and orange.

Maybe someone could clear my doubts on my poor/weak knowledge on this.

Anyone have any recommendation for monitoring activities on a pc/server ?
Scenario A:Users log into the server/pc remotely through a domain, he deletes a file on it. He installs a program later in the evening.
The application will keep track what time he log in. What file he deleted. What program he installed. And it'll also keep track the time he did these activities. Everything will be place into a log file.

Anyone here knew any software that could monitor how much time it takes to transfer a specific file.
Not network ping utility but it'll keep track how much time i transfered a file which i copied to another location.
It'll also show how much time it takes to open a file on another location.

Audio+Video On the Go

Looking to have any players that could run on both pc and android.
It could also play any form of media files.
I usually don't store my audio files on my desktop HDD.
So preferably I could have most of my audio on my mobile phone SD card.I also don't want to import the audio files to my pc.
I like Real Audio where they provide such feature.
Unfortunately on my pc when it read my SD card on my mobile phone, it'll just chuck everything separately.
Instead of organizing everything under 1 same album.

Anyone have any recommendations?
