been using it for 8 years...

started to develop these small parasite looking on screen and slowly it start spreading and now its all over the screen

on top of that theres some burn mark on screen

just wanted to know if this tv can be salvage for 3rd room tv

advise and repairman reference is appreciated

hi all

im buying company car over from company (accord 2015 - 100k) and going through hire purchase from banks.. there are odd rules being applied which im not sure if that is bnm guideline.. hope anyone here have exp can shed some light

1. is it mandatory to take up the car insurance from the bank ?

2. is it mandatory to take up life issurance?

3. is it mandatory to use bank's jpj transfer facility which i could have done that myself?

4. since im buying from company.. i have prepared all the necessary documentation as per jpj requirement.. bank says they need company director to do biometric thumbprint.. is it a must? director travelling most of the time how to get big guy like that to do biometric

[SERIOUS TALK] Hospital Discharge

Ok would like to get some advices...

Day 1
gf got admitted to hospital, suppose to discharge tomorrow but the nurse called and say better stay another 1 more day till the blood test came out..
so agreed and waiting.

Day 2
results are out .. so far normal (based on the doc's explanation). however doc still insist the patient to stay for further observation.. however we disapprove to that and the doc threatened saying that we are taking risk of discharging the patient and hospital would not be responsible .. bla bla bla..

1. Now under which legislation section/clause in malaysia that prohibits the patient from being discharged under the family's consent?
2. Does the hospital has any rights to hold back the patient (even with family's approval)?
3. Can i forcefully discharge the patient if the hospital still insist the patient to stay?

Hi guys ,

i was hoping anyone of you can advice and assist me through this.

as mentioned in the title, my laptop is running on Windows 7 Enterprise 'N' 32bit and i wanted to install WMDC. did abit of downloading and hit into few bumps as listed below:-

1. Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 - drvupdate-x86.exe

(OUTCOME - The update could not be installed because at least one Windows component required by Windows Mobile Device Center is missing)

2. Media Feature Pack for Windows 7 N - Windows6.1-KB968211-x64-RefreshPkg.msu

(OUTCOME - The update is not applicable to your computer)

So now i'm stuck... been googling on this matter and so far not much of a help..

JPJ Car Ownership Transfer

I recently purchased a 2nd hand car and sold off my current ride ...
Planning to put this father's name as this 2nd hand car owner...
He is overseas and i doubt can make it back for the transfer...

Now the question is can i proceed with the transfer of ownership in JPJ without my father being around??

question as mentioned in topic...

anyway the whole story is like this...

current ride - waja 03
- 140k mileage
- loan settled and paid off
- moderate condition require some parts changing (mounting/etc)
- fetching 21k in the market

fren selling ride - optra 05
- 80k mileage
- selling 30k (market selling 33k)
- pristine condition as the parts just changed this year (mounting/timing belt/coolant/etc)

so based on the above condition i still need to pay off the remaining 9k... round it up to 10k .. my question will be:-

1. will bank offer loan for 10k? which bank?

2. what will be the interest rate?

3. personally/logically would you consider to change the car or just stick to the current ride?

any comments/feedbacks are appreciated...

ok my bro booked (paid depo) a b-line persona elegance since late april...

sales man (dealer-ozl** puchong) promised car delivery in 3 weeks.. things dragged on and on and on .. till last month which i personally went to see the fella n screw him up n down... then promised monday get car..

somehow the fella again couldnt keep his promise and changed to friday again..

so who can i call to complain about this ? can make a big issue out of this as i wanna teach this bugger dealers not to mess with consumers?

no point talkign to this dealer as the damn sales manager oso like tak peduli onli..

As mentioned in the thread title.... Does anyone knows whether the particular Acer model's HDD is an IDE or SATA version? Please find the model's spec in my signature and the image of the laptop is as attached

Reason being is that the laptop's VGA card screwed up and Highpoint does not carry spare parts for this model anymore therefore i need to extract all the data from the harddisk...
