Distorted noise from speakers

Lately my speakers sometimes produced distorted noise from either left or right one even at low volumes, sometimes there are no sound from either speakers, turning off and on the avr sometimes solved the problem. Called technician came to fix my house mcb distribution power box and found that all the cables connected to the mcb are loose that causes sparks and power failure. Since he fixed it, I noticed no more distortion noise from my speakers, so just wanna confirm here whether the loose cables from mcb could be the culprit that had caused this problem?

My wife want to have intercourse as she is now 13th week. But i already decided not to have intercourse till the baby born. As this is our first child. Thought i had read article abt sex during pregnancy but i still worried.

I am planning to set up a HTPC with budget range of 3-4k(Max) without monitor, my requirements are:

1.) HDMI output both video & audio (no need additional cable such as coaxial or optical)
2.) Support wireless bluetooth>wireless keyboard, mouse & remote.
3.) Decent HTPC casing.
4.) Preferably minimal noise.

As topic above, i can't seem to plug in the banana plug speaker cable to the avr terminal, seems like my rxv1800 model doesn't support it?? Comparing LX-50 VS RX-V1800

Since the LX50 price has gone down to rm3.5k which is around the price of RX-V1800, it's hard for me to decide which one to go for after comparing the specs between the two, I know specs are just for reference only that's why I need "si fu" here to enlighten me abit.. I am more into Music 60% >Movie 20%=Gaming 20%, my set up are as below, which one is better to drive my front spkrs as my front power rating is 170w/8ohm? Thanks in advance..

Speaker cable connection issue..

Need expert to verify this, speaker cable must be connected correctly for example from Amp --> Speaker , The words from the cable must be readable frm left to right (dunno how to explain this ) means the words must follow the cable connect from amp to speaker not opposite...if connected opposite way then probably will damage the speaker cable, is it true? cos an accesory car taukeh told me wan..

CutOff Freq: this one i set to middle in between 50hz-150hz
Phase Alignment: 0

Guys please correct my setting above if you think i have wrongly set..i am not too sure on how to set the cut off frequency..tq..
