Same VB code, but slower in Win7 than XP. Why

I wrote a simple benchmark code that counts the loop per second.
However I get two different result on the same machine after upgrading from WinXP to Win7. Anybody knows why?

Machine: HP DC7900 Core2Quad 2.33ghz 3gb ram:
First Tests: WinXP (32bit) Result - 118,000 loops per second
Second Tests: Win7 (64bit) Result - 68,000 loops per second

What makes the loop goes slow by half?
- 32bit vs 64bit?
- Ram address?
- WinAPI?
- OS?

Makes me wonder!

VR Panorama Thean Hou temple during Chinese New Year of the Tiger Year

Every year Thean Hou temple decorate its interior and exterior with full of eye appealing elements to bring up the Chinese New Year Celebration.

For those who are not able to make it to this temple during this year can now have a Full 360 Interactive view of Thean Hou Temple.

This shot is at 50 megapixels, was taken with 63 exposure HDR during a drizzling evening. I was lucky enough to capture a lightning strike across the sky. This will probably one my favorite works of the year!

How to get access to high rise buildings?

I wanted to get some Ariel view of a KL City for birds eye view and thunderstorm shots, but how am I as an ordinary person able to get access to those rare accessible buildings roof or balcony?

Does building management accept some kinds of fee for accessing? or I have find my way to sneak up to it?

I'm on a personal assignment to capture lightning strikes of KL City, and greatly appreciate the help provided here.
