Car damages by residents

Last week on Saturday, while I was waiting inside my car at this condominium suites at Serdang, I heard a loud thump on my car, went out to inspect as I suspect maybe the car infront of me accidentally bumped into my while reversing.

Unfortunately, it wasn't by the car but actually due to someone who threw a bag of sand from one of the unit and landed on the roof of my car. The guy who was infront of me and came out and ask what happened, I told him I myself am clueless who threw it and he introduced himself as one of the security guards patrolling that area, he was actually inside the car with his wife talking and both of them did hear the noise. After much talking, he told me he will inform the management of the building and also will be making a report on behalf for me as well and will get back to me. I

Yesterday, when I went to their managements office, the staffs told me that they are looking into this incident and also filed a report for me. They said that they are unable to trace the person who did that as there wasn't any CCTVS around the units or nearby. But what actually made me felt unhappy and unsatisfied is their tone of speaking and questions thrown back at me like what was I doing there parking at that spot, and we won't offer any compensation for that damaged caused by the residents of that building and they can even reluctantly told me to go make a police report and thats just about it.

I went to a nearby workshop to get a quote on how much needed to fix the car roof and it was around 700-800.

Do you guys have any advice on how to go about cases like this and did anyone experience this kind of incidents while parking nearby highrise residential areas? I know that the management will always say park at your own risk, but seriously, what If I was standing outside of my car while waiting? What if that bag of sand landed on my head instead of my car. Would I still be here? Also according to the security guard, this isn't the first time this happened, apparently this area is dominated by most middle eastern, africans or mostly foreigners, but this doesn't justify that they are more likely the culprit.

Seems like most of the days I seen in FB, Jobstreet, or even in Lowyat here all full of job ads for Property agents, insurance agents and also financial products for HLA.

Really that desperate meh?

The other day I saw a job ad in FB. advertising for Appco group in KL sentral. PM one of the poster through whatsap.

But I pull out from attending the interview after numerous search attempts of the co background in google.

Didn't regret at all.

inb4, TS is jobless.

Actually, I'm not focusing on the extra functions that the phones are offering, just looking at a faster charging battery and also bigger capacity thats all.

A7 doesn't seems to have custom roms at the moment.

Some whom know me well in /k/, they know my story well.

I'm going to turn 24 this year, and some how I feel like working in this industry is very tough and tiring.

In case you guys are wondering what industry I am in? I am right now in the hospitality and hotel industry. Sadly though, I'm not as beautiful as how everyone sees it, but the wonderful thing is, you get to try out a lot of foods, and you will never go hungry being in this food and beverage line.

Yes, I am working as chef. And sadly, the pay is nowhere good as one might somehow seems to see it.

The department I am in right now, although it is not really tough, but the working hours and stress load from your superior/Sous Chefs/Exec Chef is very heavy at times. Just a month ago, we had a large group of F1 Drivers checking into our hotel, and as per normal routine, the breakfast was expecting a early crowd and lots of guest eating at our restaurant.

But after being in this line for almost 3 years, I feel like this is getting no where, yes, even though I have a stable job with good prospects of future ahead and not having the fear of being in hunger, but the pay is getting me no where.

I am staying with my parents, just started with my own pay for a new car, hardly go anywhere anymore, just to work and during my off days staying at home.

There were countless of times, my close friends has strongly advised me to change line, eg; Sales. The reason being, the harder you work, the more you get, commissions or whatsoever.

Is true, some of them are really making big outside right now, driving nice cars, living a good life, albeit not luxurious lifestyle. To be honest, I do envy them a lot. At least they don't have to worry about financial constraints.

Right now, I don't even have a single clue on what to do next in the next stage of life, whether to change line, or apply for an overseas job in the same field. And no, just because I can get to overseas easily, it doesn't means it is easier to work outside.

TLDR;

Stable job, with stable pay
High stress level job
Superior demands extra effort from you time to time
No fear of being in hunger, as you can get to eat what you like in working place
In the midst of confusion whether to change line or remain here or work overseas.

Guys, with the increase crime rates lately around KL, I think the coming months will even worse. Especially during the Ramadhan period and Raya festival.

Just two days ago, my colleague just happened to witness another incident of robbery again by the same douchebags at Impiana KLCC area.

Two chinese national tourist, one holding a DSLR camera, one was talking on the phone. Suddenly a bike just ramp up to the pavement and snatch those tourist belongings in a flash of an instant.

And guess what time was it, it was freaking bloody 9-10 in the morning. Sunday.

Har, how to take extra precaution? If they wanna come, they will come at any time now.

f*** this shit.

I just got robbed along Jalan Pinang

I was supposed to report in to work at 5am yesterday, but due to the unforeseen circumstances, I had to report in to the General Hospital instead.

It all happened when I just cross the road right at the corner to the road which houses Butter Factory and Neverland.

When I just cross the road, I saw two bikes with 4 individuals stopping at the junction near to Impiana KLCC. I knew something was not right but I took it for granted. So as I was about to reach the convention centre KLCC, just only less than 20 steps, they came up to me at a halt, and started demanding things from me. I told them to chill out and I would give, but I panicked and saw a guard. I screamed for help. and that's where shit starts to happen. Apparently the guy hit me with a hard object, luckily wasn't a knife or what so ever. I started bleeding, and I tried to flee but it was pointless because of my panic and fear, I couldn't mustered up the strength to his grasp again my left hand. so in the end, I only lost my wallet, phone was still with me. But I was bleeding profusely in the head.

I went up to the guard, I told him, why didn;t you come over to help, what the f***. He just made poker face. Can't blame him.

Guys, please be careful, even KL doesn't seems to be safe nowadays, I used to think the outskirts like Kepong, Gombak, Setapak only had high rates of robberies, but never to thought of KL to become like this.

Please take extra precaution during day or night.

My other colleague who was a fresh graduate resigned within 24 hours after she was held at gunpoint when she got off from her car at Wisma UOA parking. This happened 2 weeks ago.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
