Hello All.

I tried to simplified my post for better understanding. Below are the details.

Issue:
PC1 unable to boot. No display. All fans turning (CPU, GPU, case fan). EZ Debug LED indicator, CPU = RED.

What/How/When It Happened:
After I change PC1 case. Normal procedure. Dismantling everything from old case, and re-assembly into new case.

Troubleshooting Done:
1. Update BIOS, reset BIOS, taken off battery CMOS, re-seat all component, dismantle and test one-by-one, PC1 still no boot.
2. Swap parts with PC2 except processor, swap/test one-by-one, PC1 still no boot.
3. Swap processor only, other component no change, both PC booted. No issue at all. Both processor survived stress test. No blue screen, no freeze whatsoever.

Question:
What could be the issue. Processor faulty or motherboard? Has anyone encountered my situation before? Seeking for second opinion.

AMD PRO A6-8580 R5 | Any idea on this CPU?

Hi All,

Does anyone know anything about this cpu?

I was shopping for a super cheap, very basic AM4 cpu, for my daughter YT pc, from Shopee. I ended up ordering the AMD PRO A6-8570 cpu from a China based seller.

But the seller sent me wrong cpu, they sent me the AMD PRO A6-8580 instead. Upon googling the cpu part number (AD858BAGM23AB), it is AM4 processor as well.

BUT surprisingly, I could not find any official (AMD) info in regards of this cpu. Apart form CPU-World and some weird AMD pdf document, or I just didn't google thoroughly.

I manage to get it boot on A320m board. So far so good. Running Windows 10 with latest update. Below is the screenshot from CPU-Z, System Properties and CPU-World

Display Random Flickering, Stuttering & Artifact

hi All,

Seeking advise if any LYN-er encounter or successfully overcome this before.

1. Random screen flickering and stuttering while viewing interactive content (Facebook, Youtube, browsing online shopping, whenever the display needs to be scroll up, down, left & right, as long got movement on screen)
2. Sometime artifact (green, grey-ish, digital camo-ish)

A.) TROUBLESHOOTING DONE
1. Using latest driver
2. Using original old driver from Asus
3. Clean installation, using DDU and all its requirement ( delete folder, registry enable/disable, safe mode booting)
4. Update VBIOS from Asus
5. atikmdag Patcher
6. Latest Windows Update
7. Disable display acceleration on browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
8. Changing monitor with different input (HDMI, DVI, DP)

B.) DESCRIPTIONS
1. My system is mainly used for photo editing (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro), standard socmed usage and watching movie.
2. This issue only occur when I use Windows 10.
3. BUT I can run benchmark testing without any hiccup! No flicker, no stutter, no artifact whatsoever (3DMark11 Advanced, Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0, even stress test using Furmark)
4. AND I have no issue whatsoever on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 !!! (tested back-to-back installation Win 7-8.1-10)
5. A friend using Asus HD7970 (same specs with my R9-280x) having the same issue on Win 10, which he had to revert back to Win 8.1
6. I would blame Windows 10 is the culprit, but benchmarking is success with no issue.
7. Also, I would say the card is kaput, but no issue on Win 7 & 8.1!

C.) ALTERNATIVE
1. Change GPU: R7-260X 2GB-D5 - No issue whatsoever (Win 10)
2. Change GPU: GTX480 1.5G-D5 - No issue whatsoever (Win 10)
3. Buying new GPU: Budget constraint.

RAM Can't Run Both Slots

Problem:
1. Whenever both DIMM slots installed with RAM, board randomly freeze, blue screen/BSOD.
2. If use whichever DIMM slot, no issue. Regardless which slot is used.

Descriptions:
1. POST screen can detect the RAM, either both or single
2. BIOS also can detect RAM, either both or single
3. installation of windows (7 or 10) will stop halfway if using both DIMM
4. no issue of windows installation if using single DIMM (DIMM 1 or DIMM 2)
5. successfully install windows on single DIMM.
6. able to boot into windows on single DIMM, no issue. regardless which DIMM in use.
7. able to boot windows on both DIMM. but pc will freeze/BSOD after a few usages. even manage to install drivers before freeze/BSOD.
8. the only parts i didn't swap is the board because no spare.

I have a feeling that the board is kaput. Just want a second opinion. Does anyone encounter this before? Googling around, still no luck.
