There are several from lazada and shopee but all from overseas, long delivery time.

prefer to get this soonest.

My Mobo [H97M Pro4] clearance for GPU with backplate is unforgiving, Unable to plug in the usb 3.0 front panel cause the backplate is blocking the plug.
Ram slot also is justtttttt touching the backplate lucky can fit.

Monitor : open to suggestions. prefer at 1920x1080p & 21.5"/23". I heard that a 24" is a bit uncomfortable if used for long periods and at close range.

Functions : Day to day usage, browsing, youtube, occasional gaming + coding. When it comes to gaming, I won't mind the <Ultra settings. Just something that lets me game at 1080p and not lag would be fine.

Alright so this is what I could come up with after a bit of researching. Please help check for compatibility. If there's something that can be replaced thats cheaper and/or better, feel free to suggest! Thanks!

Another Help Me Build a Rig Thread

So it's nearing 10 years since my last PC (Pentium 4!). I'd like to try my hands at building a rig.
A few things to note. Probably won't be OC'ing, occasional gaming and day-to-day computer usage. Computer will be left on most of the time so a quiet casing is a good plus but not a necessity. Good airflow = less heat = less sound, right?

Anyway, I also have a few parts lying around that I'd like to finally make use of :-

RAM : G.Skill RipjawsX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600 [F3-12800CL6D-4GBXH]
Storage : OCZ Revodrive 50gb PCI-E SSD (For OS Only)
Cooler : Akasa Venom CPU Cooler This Model
OS : Windows 7 Home Premium
Keyboard, Mouse and HDD will be carried over from the old PC.

I believe I am limited to the LGA1155 (Sandy & Ivy bridge chipsets) due to the cooler. Please note that the cooler's height is 160mm.
Monitor and Speakers suggestions are welcomed too~

high temp when idle

i'm kinda worried about my HD cos the idle temp is 59-62'C . i'm using a Dell Dimension 4700. when full load (meaning running with programmes on and all right?) it'll go right up to 65-69'C . i didn't add any extra fans. so its currently one blowing air out and one blowing air in. the one blowing air in is directly to the heat sink through a green tunnel. i ddin't do any mods to it and i don't oc. i did add an extra 2gb of ram to the current 512 tho, does that affect anything? sorry, i'm extremely newb in these kinda things. just wanna ask opinion on what i should do. any comments will be appreciated ^__^
