I'M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS DRAMA ! :

SYPNOSIS

QUOTE

The story is about behind-the-scene of an idol group. Go Mi Nyu (Park Shin Hye) was a sister-to-be aka a nun. She was so pure and knows nothing about the ‘outside’ world. One day, a person who called himself her brother’s, Go Mi Nam, manager came to find her. He said to her that her help is urgently needed to help her brother signed a contract because her brother is in the ’state’ where nobody should meet him. Under circumstances, she accepted the request and meet up with the cool leader, Hwang Tae Kyung.

On the other, the group leader of A.N.Jell, Hwang Tae Kyung (Jang Geun Suk) was not so happy with the news that there will be a new member to the group. He hated him so much even though they had not meet. Under circumstances too, he had to accept the new member and live together under one roof. No one knows that the new member is actually a girl except the manager but, that was then.

And that is it. I’ll leave the rest of the story by you watching the drama.

1) Jeremy & Shinwoo are real life performing artistes with Shinwoo (real name jonghwa) as guitarist and leader of korean band CN Blue and Jeremy (real name Hongki) is lead singer of FT Island.

2) Tae Kyung (real name geun suk) sing and play guitar in real life. He have release a few single before. He is also a child actor and have been acting since..forever. He was also on Hong Gil Dong & Beethoven Virus.

3) Minam (real name shi hye) is also a child actress. She was in Goong S and Stairway to Heaven.

4) All the actors sang their part in the drama and the ost (they use their real voice. so if u see A.N.Jell performing, its the real Jang Geun Suk's voice)

5) Both Jang Geun Suk and Park Shi Hye was casting candidates for the role Goo Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di in the hit drama BOYS OVER FLOWERS.

THIS IS FANTASTIC.

The setup to this drama (crossdressing and romantic comedy) means that there are a few predictable elements that must happen, like someone finding out the truth early, and someone being uncomfortably attracted to Mi-nam. However, what makes this drama strong from a narrative perspective is that it swiftly takes us PAST these cliches, so that instead of dragging out the obvious ending for episodes, we address that point right away and move on. That makes me more excited for what’s to come, since there’s more of an element of surprise.

Aside from that, I again have to point out the great casting for all four idols. Jang Geun-seok has a wonderful sneer, and he really commits to it — I feel like this is the most committed I’ve seen him to a role in a long time.

I also love the manager’s overreliance on English phrases. Oh, it’s hella cheesy but that’s why I love it — he thinks it’s cool but it makes him look silly.

I love Jeremy for his dunderheadedness — how oblivious is he? He’s the first one sensing an inkling of attraction because his body takes note of the signs — Mi-nam’s girlish mannerisms, smooth skin, vaguely feminine ambiance — but his brain is a step behind his body, so he’s the last one to know.

And while Tae-kyung is a great character who I’m sure I will end up rooting for, HOW GREAT IS SHIN-WOO? I like him so much. He’s the Rui that Kim Hyun-joong couldn’t quite be. I have in the past suffered from Second Lead Crush Syndrome, where I felt bad for secondary characters who never got the girl despite treating her better than the hero, and I think Shin-woo will continue this trend. But I think of this in a positive light, because the benefit to a strong conflict like this is that the love triangle actually feels tense and engaging.

Park Shi Hye( 19 y/o | Actress | Model ) as GO MI NAM / GO MI NYEO

At the beginning of the series, Mi Nyu is a young nun-in-training and doesn’t know a great deal of the outside world, so idol groups and the things a typical teenage girl does/likes are completely foreign to her. Next thing she knows she’s thrown into this bizarre, flashy world she’s unused to, but decides to do her best for the sake of her brother’s career. Not only does she have to be careful to not expose her true identity to the other band members, and thus the media and A.N.Jell’s fans, but she has to prove herself worthy to the boys. The lead vocalist, Hwang Tae-Kyung, is especially convinced that an additional member is a waste of time and space, making her situation very difficult.

Mi Nyu can be a little ditzy at times but she tries so hard to please everyone around her, going out of her way to show she really is doing her best despite the fact that at times everyone seems to be against her. Most of her ditziness simply comes from the fact she has no idea what she’s doing,
and is doing her best to bluff her way through everything.

Jang Geun Suk ( 22 y/o | Established Actor ) as HWANG TAE KYUNG

This bad-ass mofo is A.N.Jell’s lead vocalist, Tae Kyung. He has one of the most terrifyingly smouldering glares I have ever seen in any drama EVER, and unfortunately for Go Mi Nyu, it’s usually directed at her. I’ve only seen four episodes but I haven’t yet seen Tae Kyung smile; smirk, yes, sneer, often, but Tae Kyung just generally seems to hate EVERYTHING and it’s incredibly difficult to please him.

When the manager first explains his plans to bring in a new member, Tae Kyung is the one most opposed to the idea, and as things go ahead anyway against his will he just gets more and more angry at everyone around him. Mi Nyu cops most of his backlash, especially since she ends up in some very unlucky situations with him, usually when she’s trying to do a good deed that goes horribly wrong. It doesn’t help that Tae Kyung has an OCD about cleanliness, which just makes it all the more easy to annoy him.

Mi Nyu knows he’s the one she has to prove herself to most of all, so much to his disgust she sticks close to him and does her best to do nice things for him—most of which go COMPLETELY wrong, leading to some incredibly entertaining misunderstandings.

Jeong Yong Hwa (20 y/o | member of C.N Blue) as KANG SHIN WOO

I didn’t really notice Shin Woo at first, his name was the last of the lead characters that I learned, simply because he’s so quiet and laid-back compared to the other two guys in A.N.Jell. He’s almost the mother of the group, stepping in to quiet arguments and stop conflicts, and to quietly wait to offer a shoulder to lean on if it’s needed. He’s a soft-spoken sweetheart and although I didn’t really notice him in the first episode, I soon began to like him more and more, especially with how supportive he is of Mi Nyu and how he tries to help her feel more welcome to the group. He’s the neutral one, just wanting everyone to get along.

That said though, there’s not a lot about Shin Woo I can say without revealing spoilers. You’ll just have to take my word on the fact that he is an awesome guy and I think he really deserves some love.

Lee Hong Ki ( 19 y/o | member of FT Island) as JEREMY KANG

British-Korean idol Jeremy is the last of the members of A.N.Jell and probably my favourite of them all; he gives so much meaning to the phrase 'dumb blonde', I can't even begin to tell you. Although he seems excited about the prospect of a new member at first, he soon becomes suspicious of Mi Nyu/Mi Nam's motives, and amongst his wild imaginings he starts to think that Mi Nam is trying to seduce his fellow bandmates, although he's thoroughly convinced that she's a guy. Growing more and more paranoid every time he catches Mi Nam talking alone with Tae Kyung or Shin Woo, he becomes determined to find out what this strange new member is up to, to 'save' his bandmates from her clutches. Problem is, he begins to find himself attracted to her as well, and his conflicting feelings frustrate him to no end.

He's a good boy at heart; he loves his bandmates like brothers and has everyone's best interests at heart, but his problem is he's dumb as a post--which makes things a bit hard for him XD. He's a ditz but not in an annoying way; he's truly adorable and he pulls some of the greatest facial expressions I've ever seen. His dog's name is Angelina Jolie, or Jolie for short, which is hilarious but not very surprising. I'm seriously looking forward to the time he finds out Mi Nam is actually a girl 8D

Is there anyone else watching this at the moment? i followed this series since it began shooting up till now..last week it started airing in KBS World with ENGLISH subtitle. you guys should really check it out. the hype on this drama (and among korean drama fans) is so insane. and i'm so obsessed with it as well ^^

to express how insane the hype is i shall give a summary:

How to Use:

Normally what i will do is i will take normal shower 1st with soam and shampoo, then will soak in warm bath for a while till i can feel my skin soften. then i will start scrubbing (out of bath of course) using italy towel.

if there is no bath, can also stay under warm shower. but if no warm/hot shower then i suggest staying under shower for quite sometime till u can feel ur skin 'soften'

here's other tip i found online:

I use this for my face as well, so you can too! It’s actually pretty useful on your face. When I sometimes wash my face with my soap, my skin sometimes goes a little dry and peels a bit. When I properly exfoliate before washing my face, it doesn’t go dry anymore cause all the dead skin cells are all gone
