HELP - PC USB Problem

Dear all sifus, as stated in topic i bought myself a Seagate 3.5" external harddisk at the pc fair last week. I plug in the usb n my pc can recognise the hdd and its icon appears in the page of my computer (jes like when u plug in the pendrive), i have no problem in browsing the folders inside, but its slow. Big problem comes as i m trying to copy data into the ext. hdd as the purpose to backup, the pc will turn out to run in really slow and the status bar always shows "preparing to copy" even thought its oredi few minutes passed, then i m panic n tried to click to refresh but the pc get hang in the end. Then i plug off the usb from the pc immediately n the pc will back to normal with the message of "windows - delayed write failed". I've repeated this for many time but the same problem still exist.
I oso test the new ext. hdd with my office pc n everything works fine, from here, i m pretty sure that the ext. hdd is problem free, the main suspect might came from my pc.
Aside from tat, there seems to hav the same problem when i try to plug my digicam into my pc, the camera's memory card folder is empty when i open in the file while i m pretty sure that there's pictures inside.
I thought reformat my whole pc will help but the problem is still the same after i brain washed my pc.....what should i do? isit problem came from my usb port of my mainboard? any idea?

I wan to ask all the sifus, my car got sound after i change the low spring. The crack crack crack sound came from front driver side as i turn my steering to that side when the car stopped there. I go back the accessories shop which pasang the spring for me, they said nid to open in n c, but i jes do the alignment. Anyone got such experience before n wad should i do? thanks for answering me.

Dear all, i m planning to change a set of sport coil springs for my waja, but i have limited budget (<RM300 + installation). Can anyone tell me wad is the coil spring sets tat is not to bumpy? eg. APM, ZMAX, Kspeed, Cap ayam, etc......hope those who is currently using the springs can share their experience here....millions of 10s =)
