I'm a newbie. I'm friend with this girl and wanted to develop a relationship more than friend.

Normally, my sms replied by her. Tonite i misread her msg and i wrongly replied. Due to that, she thought me having sms conversation with other girl too at the same time. She thought the msg sent to her supposely sent to other girl but mistakenly sent to her....but the actual fact was I really misread her msg and wrongly replied...

after that she didnt reply my msg anymore....i already said sorry....

did she angry? what shud i do next?

Resignation issue

Hi all,

I have a problem with resignation. My company resignation guideline requires 2 months of notice for resignation or pay 2 months salary for in lieu of notice.
I want to resign now and willing to pay the 2 months salary. I want to resign now because the new company wants me now.

But the problem is my manager doesnt want to accept the 2months salary payment in lieu of notice. She forced me to work for another 2 months as she said there will be business impact if i resign now. I asked HR regarding this and the HR said that my manager has the right to do so!

I was very surprised as there is no statement written in my offer letter and also in the company guideline that my manager has the right not to accept the 2 months salary and can force me to work for another 2 months !

I asked HR what if I just abandon the job and go to the new company. The HR strongly adviced me not to do so as this is really unprofessional. The HR said I will get backlisted in the company and would not be able to re-join in the future. The HR said that is the only consequence if I just abandon my job and she strongly adviced me not to do so because you cant forecast your future. Maybe in the future I want to or have to rejoin the company, who knows.

QUESTIONS

1) Do you think the only consequence if I just abandon my job is blacklisted in the company? OR do you think there are other bad things can happen that the HR hide from me?
2) Can I report my case to Labor Office as there is no written statement in anywhere saying that the manager/company can opt not to accept the payment in lieu of notice? Is my case valid? I feel cheated by them. They forced me to work for another 2 months or otherwise they will blacklist my name in the company.

Please help me.

I'll have an interview with them at KLCC next week and I wonder what will the interview questions be like....

Anyone here works with Syntronic? Anyone here had experience interview with this company?

Microsoft Visual C++ - Array Enlargement

Hello guys,

Currently I'm writing C code for Needleman & Wunsch Algorithm. The algorithm is for sequence alignment which is one of topic in Bioinformatics. I've finished the C code but I have a problem with the array size. I'm writing the C code in Microsoft Visual C++ and I have limitation in array size. I only can use array size of 500.

Actually the Algorithm needs me to build a matrix and since I only can use array size of 500...I only can build 500X500 matrix. I need a very big array size that can occupy a million at least. Anyone knows how to solve my problem? Anyone knows how to enlarge the array size in C programming? Appreciate your help.

Waiting for Altera Interview Result

Hello guys,

Altera came to my campus for campus recruitment last month. I have passed the assessment test and also the interview. Result for the interview will be out on early December. My question is...Is there 2nd interview? If yes, what shud I expect for the 2nd interview? Is it the same materials with 1st interview such as VLSI, Digital Logic, VHDL/Verilog and C++?

Anyone here have experienced the Altera campus recruitment exactly the same as mine? Appreciate ur help. The best experience during interview was watching Florence....hehehe....she's really cute...
