Need help. When using MS Office Word 2003, for new document, after I typed a few characters, then I pressed ENTER, then the cursor will go down several lines below?..how to fix this?

Is there any way or any supplement that I can take, either to improve my eyesights or to protect my eyesight from getting worse.?I wear glasses. Thanx.
