Being forced to pay to employer

This is how the the story begins.
Few months back...my company organized a trip to overseas.
This is a working trip therefore it is compulsary for us to go thr.
Before going, they forced us to sign an agreement stated tht if we resign within a year after the trip, we are required to pay them back the expenses of the trip.
Few of my colleagues refused to sign at first but gave in in the end after talking to our boss.
Now that few of us has resigned recently and company asked us to pay back the money which is rm2400
Ive asked some of my frens and they told me that actually by right the company cnt ask us to pay back bcuz the trip is a compulsary trip.
We were nt given the choice to not take part in d trip.
Besides, the trip is for working purpose, it is not for leisure purpose. It is not logic at all to pay the company to give us extra work.
How n where can i seek help to challenge my company's action for holding my salary to pay them back the trip?

Have you come across with some people that like to purposely speak English with an British/USA accent?
I so think that this kinda ppl are damn naive. They think they look pro by speaking english in this way. For me, i think that they are like a clown.
Peoplee can easily differentiate whether your accent is natural o not. y
Its always a better way to speak naturally instead of pattern banyak banyak there.

sorry guys wat i meant is ppl faking their accent in order to look pro, regardless of impropriate vocabulary usage or grammatical errors.

my i need to block certain program with my router such as xunlei and bt bcuz my housemate is using it to download and whole house connection also become slow.
