hello.

i need sifu-sifu help here. my company ask me to wheter change the switch, should i change a completly new 1 or just stack another switch.

i'm not good in network, just good in computer, that why he asking me.

so... any step by step i need to do?

hi.. i try the search function but i cant find any to related my topic..

i have faulty hard disk.. it keep write on the bad sector.. i mapped the bad sector but it keep growing. so i brought new 1... now i want claim the hard disk for warranty.. how to RMA a product.. my hard disk is WEstren Digital Hard disk.. i bring to he shop and there say the cant do anything because there dont know to deal wit the factory.. is there any service at low yat forum to help me out... or i just can do it...

i saw the website RMA and it say only applicable in Peninsular Malaysia, i'm at labuan, the computer industry are not so big... any please help me.

File always corrupt

hi..i have a problem and i cant solve it..

i download files from rapidshare(premiun)..after download it..there are possibility that the file will be in corrupt..i try couple times download it.. then sometimes the file is not corrupt..i ran scan disk, it detect the corrupt file..

why i got this problem..after scan disk it should be fine..still after i download stuff..the problem occur again. is this may be because my internet problem because the line here is not stable(on and offf plus slow).

window keep corrupt after reformat

i format my pc because the system folder corrupt..then aftea few day, my system folder corrupt again..

i dont know wat to check...i buy new window cd still the same...i ran scan d*** show no problem...

i need some help find power socket..

my bro think he is genuis try use my socket to see small spark...

now the power plug is unuseable and i need to find new one..got any advice for me or some1 can sell it to me..i dont want buy new modem just because of the plug...

my power socket is ac/dc adaptor 9v..i try using 12v plug for speaker, it work..but i dont dare...scare explode...

any1 help me...please...no money to buy new modem...

Hi everyone, i planning to upgrade my pc but i feel that my is too old

here the spec of my current pc

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ venice core

Abit AN8 (nForce 4)

2 x 512 Mb kingston valueRAM DDR 400

WinFast PX6600 GT 128 MB

80GB SATA harddrive
5250 SATA2 Harddive

1 DVD rom

Coolermaster extremepower 430W psu

LCD Samsung Syncmaster 932b 19 inci

now the question is should i upgrade the pc or just buy a new 1? because the motherboard is so old and all the part are expensive even the ram (DDR). if buy a new one, i dont have that much budget, may be i have to wait till mid of the year.

if i want upgrade i would like to upgrade the RAM to 2 gig but compare to DDR2, DDR ram is much expensive, i feel like is not worth it

If i want to upgrade the graphic Card, i want the 8600 GT, but i would like to know it is overkill since my CPU is just only AMD Athlon 64 3000+ whereby the cpu is the limit to the performance. if the were the case, any card that u can recommend for me like the nvidia 7 series.

the other question is can my PSU support this upgrade?
