wow, guess what, i have stop downloading/torrenting for more then 1 week. almost 2 week cause what i notice is if u use torrent, they will put u on blacklist and u wont get in "certain" ip address. anyway, still major lag from around 9a.m to 1 a.m. yes, it's laggy 16 hour perday. i can only play my fun LOL online games without lag for 8 hour per day and i use every minute of it. no sleep at night anymore thanks to TMnut. i wonder when i'll go nutty too and lost it. maybe i'll go on a rampage on the nearest TMnut headquarter and kill as many people as possible when i can't take it anymore. yes, i'm game addict. and u know what an addict will do right?

yesterday no lag at all whole day. i though TMnut stop putting me on the bottom of their food chain anymore after i stop downloading/torrenting for more then 1 week. and today at around 9a.m, i suddenly got DC from my favourite LOL games and lost the match. i can't connect to any website, even in malaysia but i'm connected to the internet. i go check my phone, and got a weird tone. so i restart my modem. phone back normal and can connect to internet again but guess what. it's the crappy TMnut laggy connection again.

so, i guess there is no blacklist ip? it's just TMnut suck as a whole and if u want lagless connection u need to pay for a business fixed ip line? should i torrenting since it don't really make any different? and if i got so piss out and my volcano erupt what should it do ? should i go to the nearest TM HQ and went berserk? cause i seriously dont know how much longer i can tolerate shitty service with no other option due to monopoly and goverment corruption.

i may be only 1 person, but a person who have lost all sanity can do a lot of damage. suicide bomber is only 1 person too. so if u work for TM, better pray when someone like me erupt i dont go to your place of work

like what i said in my last post, tmnut want to earn more. and as a good tmnut employee, make profit for the company makes them a good employee. so it's the time of the month again. 12 of december 2008, mark this date and let's see how many days will they throttle our bandwidth.

Most develop country have broadband internet service provider (ISP). In most of the country, their client pay according to how much they use or how long they use. Such as for every 10 megabit they download, they pay 1 cents, or they pay a monthly payment of 30 dollar for a 1 gigabit download, and if their usage exceed that, they will have to pay extra for every 10 megabit.

In Malaysia, TMnet tried to do that at the start when broadband service is introduce. Unfortunately, the prospect of having to pay more then a fix amount doesn't appeal much to customer as we have been through or heard of account theft, where other people is using your account while you are paying for it. So, TMnet change into into a fix monthly payment to avoid this issue.

For all those who started using TMnet streamyx at the early stage, you will notice that there is hardly any lag problem. This is because streamyx is having less customer on their line to share the bandwidth. They get it the same way like most other develop country, a monthly payment and a limit of bandwidth usage per month. If exceed the limit, they will have to pay more, but since there is not much subscriber, they never reach the limit so all user can enjoy their full bandwith, sometimes even more.

After all the advertisement to attact more user, more and more malaysian used it (some encourage by their friend who have it, and claim it is great, which is at that time), other due to all the cheap promotion to attact more user. Now, it appear we have exceed streamyx monthly limit and they have to pay more every month. This become worse with the introduction of p2p downloading program such as Napster, Kazaa, and the latest Bittorrent program. Users make it a habbit of leaving their PC on whole day just to download thing from such program.

So, TMnet profit become less. In the end, they use the most easy way to increase profit. Simply by having a "quota". If you haven't notice yet, the lag problem usually only start at the middle of the month until the end of month. This is because the quota that they set have been reach by us dynamic ip users who share the same 3 different line which are 218.x , 219.x, and 60.x . So, they simply limit the bandwith just like us limiting the download and upload when we use the p2p program such as BitComet. For example, from the normal 1 gigabits pipeline shared by 218.x ip which is shared by 1000 users (each user get their full bandwith of 1 megabit), they limit the pipeline to 200 megabits, (all users only get 200 kilobits which are 1/5 of their package). So, now all users have lower speed or the so call lagging problem.

Why in certain time of a day, our connection speed is back to normal? This is because less people are using it at that time. Even if they lower their pipeline to 200 megabits, if only 200 users is using at that time, all those 200 users will have their full package bandwith.

Now, TMnet have come up with another way to increase their profit. They know they pay most for their customer who uses p2p program, so now they have block those kind of program and have the ability to detect and limit the user bandwidth automatically if detected that user is using it. In some way, this provide fair usage for all other users who don't use that much or download much, who just play online game. This is because by lowering the bandwidth of p2p users, it may take longer to reach the "quota" where they will limit the bandwidth and making us all lag, or it may not reach the "quota" at all and we all may enjoy good bandwidth for whole month, or just have lagging for the last few days of each month.

Why are they doing this? I don't know. It may be because they are greedy and just wan to earn more, or it is just because of their cost/benefit thing. Only the highest ranking people or their account will know.

For all the fix ip users (mainly Cybercafe or Corporate office), they are not sharing the same line as us dynamic ip user is. Which is also why they pay a lot more each month and have the same bandwith of 1 megabit like us dynamic ip users.

Can i proof any of this? No, i can't. It is up to u to believe it or not.
