D7000 memory card 2 problem

Hi there.....

i have a D7000....when i bought it i never used the second card slot...untill last raya i put both card in both slot..to my surprise, it can read slot no 1 only... removed card in slot 1, put a card into slot 2, LCD screen displayed -E- (means no card)

I'm using sandisk extreme II 16GB cards for both... both of them can be read in slot 1 only..

so i tested using several card.. the results

Card Type slot 1 slot 2

1. TOshiba 2GB type 4 OK OK

2. buffalo 4GB type 6 ok ok

3. sandisk 8gb type 6 ok not ok

4. kingston 16GB type 10 OK Not OK

5. sandisk extreme II 16 GB OK Not OK

6. Sandisk Ultra 8GB OK Not OK

some suggested that the cards have problems... so i went to the shop that i bought.. they tested with their cards and about the same problem they got..

since the camera still under warranty, i send to SC.... just now i called SC and ask them ..they said my camera is fine... they tested using many cards and there is no problem with the card..they will run a few more test

now i'm so confused....

how to install AI on netbook

guys,

did anyone know how to install adobe illustrator on netbook?
i have the CS3 and cannot complete the setup because the system requires 1024 x 768 resolution while my toshiba nb520 is up to 1024x600.

i read somewhere that i can manually adjust the screen resolution but i cant do it... i got no other choice beside 800x600 on the lame intel graphic card. huhuhu

is that any other way i can by pass the system check??

fellas,

currently i'm using wireless modem/router for my streamyx.

i read somewhere that using separate modem n routers is the best in term of connection, speed and stability.
if this true..i cant remember what's the reason... maybe somebody could explain to me

or it's just the same ..

my concerns beside the above factor is electricity bill. Logically, having 2 device will have more power usage, but since both were rated low watt device, would the diffrent is very significant if using modem/router or modem + router?

FYI, my router is running average 12 hours every day.

but currently i'm looking to get the android phone (still not sure which yet)

but i just wanna ask, since most of the telco out there offer special rates for their smartphone data plan user...

but i coulnd find any of the plan for pre-paid customers...

currently i'm using celcom and their pre-paid data plain still not so good..

any other telco out there that offer cheaper pre-paid data plan.

smartphone without data plan then i have to switch off network which made it a not-so-smartphone
