Placeholder column

Hi ,

I wanted to store the value returned from database into a placeholder column. Is this possible to be done?
Lots of articles on the Net are just describing what it is and why we need it but I can't find any syntax on how to assign the value to the placeholder column?

placeholder := ?? ;

I am still quite new in using the oracle report developer.. Is there other way than use select into (haven't try this)?

I am having the same problem with Step 4.. Error S04E02 Prepare the Dialer

Modem : Riger
OS: XP

The LED light for LINK is still unstable.. At first, my streamyx acc wasnt activated yet.. after a month, finally got activated but the light is still blinking.. I have switched on for more than 10 minutes... When I try connect, it will have error 678: Remote computer does not respond.
If I use the CD they gave me it will got stuck in Step 4 preparing dialer with error code S04E02

Ip camera vs webcam

Hi,

Just a noob question from a noob.. What is the difference between IP camera and the webcam that we used? I mean in terms of the usage, functionality and probably price? Can both be used for video streaming in web applications?

In HP website, I saw the spec for this printer model which says Duplex is standard automatic, but when I went to ask for more details at the mall, they told me that this model doesn't support duplex..

Does anyone here know about this printer model or owns it? Thanks...

Can anyone recommend AIO laser printer that can do good, quality fast and reliable color printing, color scanning, color photocopying, duplex, photo printing perhaps? and fax? Is there any within the budget RM300-400? If not what is the price range for that? What bout the maintenance cost like the price for the ink that does not get to be dried up after a while not using it?

How to copy stored proc only from sql server 2005?

Dear Forumers,

How to copy just the stored proc in sql server 2005 besides opening it one by one and save them one by one? There are quite a number of tables and stored procs...

The solutions I have tried are backing it up(but this will save all and it will be very large file) and use publising to provider choosing only stored proc (still very large file as it includes create table).

Either use sql server management studio or vs.net has been tried.

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place to open this topic. Sorry if I put it at the wrong place.

A friend of mine accidentally created an account in aol.com dashboard but he cannot delete it. Is it okay if he just leave it without signing in? He is quite new with the Net. And I am not too sure either about this aol thing.

I do not know how he come across it but he thought he was signing up for the aim mail and so he had clicked on the link aol sent for him to confirm the registration. He did not sign up for anything else, not even the aim mail when he created the account with the screen name (his email address). He was panic when he can't find the delete button at the account/settings. When he try login in into aim mail, it has "this screenname is not supported .....".

Basically, this is what he told me. So, is there anyway to delete this without have to call them (as I think this is the free account not the paid one) or is it okay to just leave it without ever signing into it?

EGL vs Informix 4GL and Eclipse

Is there any plugins for eclipse so that I can code and debug informix-4gl codes? I found a forum saying that they are working on the plugins (posted in 2006) and they say they would be released in early next year (so i assume is 2007) but I could not find it in the eclipse plugin page... EGL is different but the syntax is almost the same as in informix 4gl but if not mistaken informix 4gl connect to informix database server only and EGL use jdbc to allow connection with any db...

SyntaxError: unexpected EOF while parsing

I uses 'input()' to get user input. But I get this error message SyntaxError: unexpected EOF while parsing. What does that mean? I try to use 'raw_input' but since the user input is an integer, it also will provide error.. if not mistaken raw_input is for string input..
How can this be resolved? Thanks in advance..

Cannot delete

I have a delete function which needs to delete data from 8 tables... It sounds weird but Is there any limit on the number of delete statement that can be executed?

mysql_query("delete from .....); (8x)

I only manage to delete 4 of the tables only... Or could it be the relationship of keys or something... but i dun seems to have problem deleting it from mysql itself... and I am sure there is no syntax error or spell wrongly variables..

i have a column call id .. it is integer type with auto-increment.. when the id reach 10 and retrieved, it will become 1... is this due to mysql table setting or mysql_fetch_array?

This is really really frustratingly weird... I have a page that will display this after submitting the form but in other pages, it works just fine!

What can I do to resolve this? Last time somehow I managed to resolve it but this time using same method doesnt help at all....There is no such user in user table...
