Item(s): Loose diamond, 0.51C / I / VVS2 / 3EX

Package includes: GIA Certificate, Ring box

Price: 7500 (revised)

Warranty:

Dealing method: COD only!

Location of seller: Kuala Lumpur

Contact method/details: Please PM me for more info and viewing arrangement

Age of item: Brand new (Certified March 2016)

---

Item(s) description:
Carat Weight: 0.51 carat
Color: I
Clarity: VVS2
Cut Grade: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Florescent: None

This is for those that desire superior cut but can't afford a graded H&A diamond, and couldn't pick a good stone from the bulk of local wholesaler.

I was told that this diamond would have pass as ideal or super ideal, however this was brought in from diamond wholesaler in US, so it follow standard GIA grading and hence, priced accordingly.

For people that are interested to find out the different of I colour with more superior colour, say E, F or G, check out youtube review (e.g. goodoldgold).

Anyway, this is not graded as hearts and arrows, as it doesn't pass as one (H&A diamond would cost 30% - 50% more). Nevertheless arrows are usually very obvious (if the crown/pavilion proportion is cut to ideal), while heart image is more difficult to spot as it is very sensitive to other minor facet dimension.

**Update: heart image available, apparently it qualified as H&A.

Pardon for the low quality picture, took it with whatever I have then.

Picture:
[attachmentid=6511718]
[attachmentid=6510634]
[attachmentid=6510675]
[attachmentid=6510685]
[attachmentid=6510754]
[attachmentid=6522618]
[attachmentid=6531275]
[attachmentid=6531276]

Reason for sale: The diamond was sold as a pair, both same size/color/clarity/cut. I only need one, the other is yours.

Apple sue HTC

Here comes Steve Jobs from Apple with new agenda...

QUOTE

Looks like Apple's going on the warpath, kids. Just a few months after Cupertino got into it with Nokia over phone patents, Apple's filed suit against HTC, alleging that the company is infringing 20 patents "related to the iPhone's user interface, underlying architecture, and hardware." Steve, you have something to say?
"We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We've decided to do something about it," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours."
Okay then. We're pulling the complaint filing now, we'll let you know the exact details as soon as we learn them.

Source: Engadget

Maxis Postpaid with Data Plan

This is a direct complaints and sharing with all potential user which are considering to port from other telco to Maxis. Something you need to be aware off if you plan to take the data plan.

I was a Digi user for few years. From prepaid, to postpaid. After that, I switched to Maxis postpaid. No problem at all, the whole process took like 3 working days. (I registered on Friday, got my line up on next Tuesday). I subscribed Value Plus 50, +data plan (I told the lady to get me the lowest available plan, which is RM8 for 6MB, as stated in the registration form. I wanted to try their 3G service and coverage before I subscribed to higher data plan.

Then my nightmare for Maxis postpaid begin. First month, my bill shot up to RM280+. Apparently, the RM8/6MB plan was not recorded in my account. After I checked with Maxis, 3-4 phone complaints (including a conversation direct to the shift supervisor), several visits to Maxis HQ (KLCC), and 1 week later, finally they said the RM8/6MB plan was no longer available, the lowest plan is RM58/500MB. Hence, the system charged me as per data usage. Fine, then I say get me the RM58/500MB with immediate effect. During the whole process of the 1 week, my line was barred every 24 hours, I had to call their service center, make the lengthy explanation to them, then they unbarred my line. And worst case is, Maxis doesn't allow user to use their own barred line to call their helpline! Whenever I called their helpline, it would say that my line has been deactivated and if I like to make payment to my account. I have to find a public phone to call their helpline, and it's not even toll-free.

On 2nd month, my bill still shoot up, this time almost RM400. I make several complaints again, apparently, my data plan (RM58/500MB) was pro-rata to 3 weeks only, because I activate my data plan on the 2nd week. (complaint took about 1 week). For that, My data plan is RM30+ for like 300+MB. The remaining amount was charge as per 1cent/1kb. Calling them did not help, they would recorded the case, made the report, then asked me to wait. It took them 1 day to return my call, from another person who is following up the case. Had to explain everything (again), and took him another few more days. They ask me to pay my bill first, then they will settle it later. WTF, if I pay you, it means I have acknowledged the statement, and I don't think they will entertain me anymore. For their mistake and inefficiency at handling my case in previous month, I was troubled for 1 week, can't make calls, and because of that, they pro-rata my plan, without even telling me there was such thing as pro-rata. Consumers are not liable for terms that wasn't spell out clearly. And so I warned them. Anyway, the helpline never solve my case. Again, I walked in to Maxis HQ at KLCC, spend 1 hour queuing, 30 mins of explaination (again), finally they took me seriously, unbarred my line and get it done several days later.

Again, during this period, I have to call their helpline everyday to unbarred my line.

On the 3rd, 4th, and 5th month, my line still get barred, because I exceed my limit of RM100, as my Value Plus 50 + data plan already cost me RM108. No more issue with data plan. What bothered it was, Maxis consistently barred my line in less than 24 hours after they email my bill iternary. On the 5th month, I walked in to Maxis KLCC to lodge complain about this. I say I want to talk to someone that can resolve my problem, so I talked to the Manager, told me this is because Value Plus 50 have RM100 credit limit, including my data plan. The barring is part of the system, and he cannot do anything. To upgrade my limit, I have to upgrade my plan to Value 80 (give me RM200 credit limit), or pay deposit of RM100 to top-up my credit limit. Again, due to their deficiency, I have to pay?! I screwed them for 30 mins, then the manager ask the service counter guy to make report.

The worst thing about Maxis is, their helpline never solve the issue for real (only unbarred the line temporary). I have to waste 1 hour queuing at their service center (somemore at HQ KLCC), 30 mins of explaining, and still have to wait for few days for them to resolve my case.

And so, I move back to Digi. I registered on Friday evening, and my line was ready before noon the next day. I get RM50 plan + RM58/3GB data plan. Digi data plan only implement fair usage policy, they don't impose any charges upon exceeding the 3GB quota.

Digi, Always the Smarter Choice - I can't agree less.
