I would like to ask about how the Ikea furniture build quality and price vs with those local and oversea seller in Shopee\Lazada\Taobao. I wanted to buy furniture but comparing price for Ikea product, it seems the price is very expensive comparing local brand seller at Shopee\Lazada\Taobao. For those who got experience buying furniture from Ikea and online platform, please share your experience and review about their furniture quality.

Also, I noticed that Ikea Malaysia has less choice comparing to other country like US (off catalogue product). You may see Ikea Tour made by a YouTuber.

Comparing Ikea US catalogue and Ikea Malaysia catalogue price as below and it seems like new products in US more cheaper than Malaysia but old products, Malaysia is more cheaper.

MySejahtera new UI with tracking progress

I have registered earlier but the date shows today after resubmit the questionnaire and the new UI appear. KJ said no need to register again. But previous registration date was 23 Feb. My earlier registration only 50k people but now as today is 1.7 million people registered via Mysejahtera. Meaning am I behind 1.7 million people?

Do u trust KJ said no need to re-register again? The system might not capture your previous registration.

Today I received an invitation to place booking for Starlink which available in year 2022. Booking fee is USD 99 and refundable. Setup up kit cost USD 499 when available.

The service monthly fee is USD99 with expected speed 300Mbps this year. Limited number of users per coverage area. First come first serve.

Every telco have printed expiry date on the back of the new prepaid sim pack. Can we still register and activate the new sim pack after the expiry date?
Keep until forgot to activate and register.

Also same to those mobile shop unsold sim pack that almost expiry date, what will they do? Will they cheaply sell off or returned back the sim pack to the telco company and exchange new sim pack or just repack with new packing?

OneXOX PREPAID - Most Preferred MNP Choice (MAXIS)

I discover that many ex-Maxis subscriber (prepaid and postpaid) 012 prefix number will port out to OneXOX prepaid and just simply top up RM50 to get stay the line active for 28 months without reload or plan subscription. My friends also did this to their few 012 numbers and then keep the sim in the drawer and subscribe new 012 number again. Reason is to get new preferred number and the old one keep in case for future will use. Also most of the students and working at overseas including those who migrate to overseas would do it too.

Maxis currently only open the 012 prefix number for their Postpaid plan Rm98 and above , no longer available for prepaid subscribers and Hotlink Postpaid too. I assume 012 prefix numbers probably left 10% to 20% unsubscribed numbers and mostly the numbers are less preferred? Each prefix numbers (exclude the 011 prefix which has 8 digits can support more) can support 10 million numbers and it is 1/3 Malaysia populations. Total Malaysia prefix telco numbers can be more than 100 millions.

Should gov make the rules that all telco only allow the prepaid user to stay active max 3 to 6 months if there is no reload or plan subscription instead allow the line to stay active 28 months so that the numbers can be go back recycle and other people can enjoy their prefix and numbers choice?

This is an assumption as I do not know the real reason why Maxis dedicated 012 prefix for expensive postpaid plans.

MySejahtera Apps to spy people?

I wonder why this apps need so much aceess including your account info, contact info, device sd storage, etc.. is it to use to spy on the people phone activity? Is like to force people to install in exchange for RM50 ewallet.

I have tried pgcare qr scan via web . Just simple qr code scan and no other info collected. Just for you to check in purpose only.

Prepaid sim registration buy from Shopee Lazada

I am planing to buy a prepaid sim card from seller at shopee and lazada platform. They requested me to provide IC photo for registration but i worry that they might misuse it or register to other foreigner that no ID like PATI and sell with higher price to them.

Anybody face any problem here for buying sim card from online reseller?
