Planning To Open Business Selling Video Games

As the title suggest, I am looking to try and open my first business selling video games, including consoles, the games and accessories related to them.

Any kind soul would help and suggest me a reputable supplier?

Basically, I am planning to sell them online to test the water so to speak, before moving to physical stores and whatnot. I believe healthy competition is good for the consumers, plus I am based in Sarawak, so most of the clients I think would be from this region as there are many sellers already based in the Peninsular.

I have no knowledge of this, plus I never had any travel insurance before until someone mentioned it to me as I am planning for my next trip.

If you refer to my siggy, I am selling few stuff here.

One day, got this fella saying he is interested to buy a few. Blablablayadayada I gave him my bank details. Shortly after he copy pasta the bank details, bank accounts, amounts and whatnot. Except for the transaction number, time and date, but I don't really mind because it would somewhere around few minutes before, I would think.

A couple of days passed, no transaction details appear on my bank transaction history. I thought maybe it would take usual 2 3 business days. He PM-ed me whether I have post the item yet, I told him I would do so after I have confirmed the transaction went through.

As of today, it has been more than a week, nothing appear on my history yet. The fella is silent now.

Did this fella tried to scam me?

What are your experiences being a seller here? Even as a buyer.

1) Nowadays it is rather easy to buy online from different locations and to be sent to our addresses here. I would like to know for those who have bought gadgets, particularly smartphones online from USA, what delivery service you use: DHL or UPS or others?

2) If so, is it safe? Is there any some kind of compensations if somehow the package is "missing" while en route?

3) For smartphones, once it reach here, any tax would be imposed?
