wifi signal spike intermittenly

hi all,

my unifi wifi has been acting bad lately. i dont know wether its the router or the connection inside this building that is wacky. i am trying to figure this out.

i just moved from a landed house to a condominium in sentul. there are spikes/lags in my internet connection. and its really bad and its getting on my nerves.

i try pinging my own router at 192.168.0.1 and the ping return sometimes are okay, under 5ms, but when the lag occurs, it spikes to 100ms and as high as 5000ms.

if i run same ping to www.google.com and the router at the same time, the spikes happen simultaneously.

i eliminate my laptop hardware failure since the pc and phone inside my room also have high ping lag.

i tried pinging from inside my room (30 feet from router, with walls), and tried pinging like 3 feet from the router also yield almost the same result.

Is there any ideas / steps that i can follow to eliminate this problem?

i am currently on 30mbps unifi.

How to manage company's finance account?

Hello all,

Im starting a business in the next few months, and im facing problems with how should i manage the bank account of my company.

when i ask some people, they would say that i should make sure that the debit and credit in the account is active (many transactions) and some say that i should focus on the end of the month amount, meaning how much is not used (profit).

which one is true and tested?

i want to know because i want to use my business as a loan tool to banks, for property,etc loans.

CPU overheat after cleaning fan.

Hey guys,

I just cleaned my PC a couple of days back, it's a new setup (around 3-4 months that i bought from lowyat),after finish cleaning it, i removed the CPU fan, just to clean the fins(?) of the fan. After i reassemble the whole thing, i noticed that after 5-10mins of usage, the pc will lag, then i restart, it will throw an overheat error during boot.entered the BIOS, and i see that the temp is about 70-79 idle!

I let the pc cool down a bit, opened it up, apply a new layer of thermal paste, turn it on, let it run, and it maintained 50-65 degrees. Yesterday it happened again, my PC shuts down(classic overheat symptom) and when restart thrown the same overheat error.

I opened the case, inspect the fan, all working include the case fans,GPU fans, but i notice the CPU fan is not that tight. its wobbly but not by much. I resit it the best that i could, it still wobbly. Is it a problem with the fan sitting or its time for a new fan?

I'm running stock fan of i5 processor.

hello guys,

my bb bold dah a few times tukar keyboard but the problem still appear la. everytime i type, if i press a once, it will appear as if i typed in aaaa or any other letter. Lately, it has been worst, almost ALL my letters are happening like this.

do you guys have a solution other than changing my keyboard that i've done 3 times already.

How to know if your unit is a refurbished set?

Hi Guys!

I want to know is there a way to check whether your unit is a refurbish or a new set? Because, a few days back i send my BB to a shop to repair (cracked screen) and the technician there say that this unit is a refurbished set. But, according to the guy that sold me this BB (other shop) this unit is NEW.

So, now i want to 'attack' the shop la,but i cannot do so unless i have confirmation about this. I asked the technician how he know, he said that the sticker at the back (underneath the battery) shows that its a recon/refurbished unit. He also said that if a NEW unit, it will has a 'RedStar' sticker at the back. Is this true?

p/S : i also check the total call time i made on this BB, it shows 5days ++ a few hours, which is impossible since my november and december total call time only amount to 2hours+.

BB die when battery has 3 bars left

hello,

my BB always die 'prematurely' . The battery still has like 3 bars and then it just dies automatically. I thought that the phone would either indicate it's low on battery by displaying it on the screen or the LED. But, it just turns off. Is it just my own bb problem or other person also got the same problem?

i removed my hard disk to add my friends hard disk in order to format it, but it wont boot, the motherboard beeps 1 long beep and 3 short beeps.

then, i put my hard disk back in and the same happens. 1 long beep and 3 short beeps.. what is the problem and how to repair it?

Problem connecting to internet using wireless rout

hello all,

i'm currently using d-link dir-300 wireless router together with p1 wimax.

the thing is, connecting to the internet sometimes can be somewhat of a problem.

The router will say that the internet is offline eventhough the wimax is already connected and stable.

i have to restart either the modem or router in order for it to work together and connect to the internet.

or did i mis-set the damn router?

any ideas?
