Department: Finance

Key Job Purpose
Working to support decision-making of strategic and tactical level, the Business Analyst is required to play a business-partnering role with Senior Management team to drive improvement in sales volume at optimum profits, via critical and insightful analysis of sales volume, market position, margins and operating costs.

Job Responsibilities
a) Analysis of results vs forecast/budget/CAPEX and provide insights on the flour market and
competitive scenarios. The analysis should be commercially oriented (i.e. holistic view with
focus to achieve improved market position).
b) Play an active and hands-on Business Partnering role in supporting implementation of
Business Strategies (e.g. streamlining the process of Sales Forecast to Raw Material Planning,
sales growth in identified market etc.)
c) Drive annual budget and monthly forecast process
d) Designing and preparing useful executive reporting formats (routine & non-routine)
e) Facilitate/monitor the delivery of KPIs (sales/marketing & operations, CAPEX), highlighting
opportunities for improvement & risks.
g) Data Management in Forecasting System (IBM/TM1).
h) Assist with ad-hoc financial modelling, powerpoints presentations preparation
j) Drive business process improvement projects which are related to the job responsibilities of
the Business Analyst.
k) Flour costing analysis
l) Customer profitability analysis

Competencies required :-
Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical abilities
Familiar with cost/benefits, marginal vs full costing concepts
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, ability to work with people from various cultural background
High level of self-motivation and drive,
Ability to work both independently as well as a team,
Ability to manage fast-changing information from a diverse nature at a fast-paced environment
Have strong comprehension capability to work with large amount of information and ambiguity

Job requirement:-
Graduate with at least a Bachelor’s/Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting/Costing or related disciplines.
At least 5 years relevant hands-on experience in analysis on both financial & non-financial data. Exposure in manufacturing business is a great advantage.
Effective communication (oral& written) in English.
