Need help on specs

Hey,

need some pointers on the rig that i'm planning to buy. currently my rig is as below

i5-6400 @ 2.7 ghz
Geforce GTX 1050-Ti
AsRock H170M mobo
8GB RAM

with this rig i can achieve 120 fps playing dota but mostly i'll play PoE and trying to stream PoE either from Youtube or Twitch. It's almost unwatchable when i stream PoE using OBS, lots of frame dropped. But screen recording turned out fine. Btw, i only tried to stream at 720p at that time. Tried stream directly from Nvidia GeForce experience but similar results. I'm thinking it's time to upgrade as i can notice the loading screen n all is a little slow now. I'm not a high/ultra setting players too, normally just run default or whatever "optimization" the nvidia software offers.

I have 500mbs time fibre, so internet upload speed side should be fine right?

would this new rig be sufficient?

this rig is around RM 3.4K from idealtech january promo. I change PC every 2/3 years, so this rig i'm looking should also be able to serve me for that period of time. lol

Granules in BCAA protein

Hi,

Refer to the attached picture, my powdered BCAA appeared to become granules and even though I remove it, New ones will form nonetheless. Is it still healthy or good to take? Can't find expiry date on the bottle also. Sigh

Last time when I just started taking BCAA, it feels like my body recover much faster, but taking this now seems like no effect. Is it normal though?

External HDD

Hey guys,

My WD Passport External HDD have been behaving very weird lately when plugged into the CPU. It will be detected by the PC, then disconnect, then reconnect again, then disconnect.

The HDD itself is spinning and there's light emitted from it too. Not sure if this problem can come from the cabel? or the external casing?

Anyone experience this before can advise?

i'm using 18-105mm kitlens now, and i came across this lens,

1)Tamron AF 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 XR Di II ~rm8xx

with the price as such, im thinking to maybe sell off my kitlens and get this, with the extra 95mm added to the zoom capability, i think should be worth it. but that's all theory. what do u guys think? isit worth it? i've always wanted an extra zooom capabilities. currently i have kitlens and 50mm 1.8 lens only.

Screeching sound while breaking

As per the topic. recently my car produce a screeching sound when i'm breaking, esp during hard breaking and the most funny thing is they always come after i did my wheel alignment and balancing. the sound would remain for few days after that it will be gone.

and i noticed these events happen after my car spins on the highway due to emergency brake which was few months ago, and right after that i took it to workshop to check if the rims was ok. turn out 2 of the rims are slightly bent, so they offer to fix the bent and i know it's just temporary solution.

does this 2 event related? i havent check the other parts of the car yet though, drive shaft, arm n etc. previously because the break sound will go away after a few days that's why i didn't really bother at it since it might be uneven breakpad, as said by one of the foreman. but now that its always happening, i start wondering. and by the way during braking i will feel some wobbling or pulsating from the wheel, even the passenger can feel, i suspect break disc but never got it inspected yet.

thanks in advance for future comments, would like to roughly the diagnosis so i wont get conned by shops.

My HD4850 which i used for around 1.5 years, today suddenly i realized the fan had problems where it sometimes spin, sometimes no.. making my gpu freaking hot n sometimes the pc shut down automatically. So i was wandering if this fan, i think it came together with the heatsink, whether can be replaced at shop or not, and roughly how much would it cost? it's saphhire radeon HD4850 to be exact

Certain fuctions to alter my monitor setting is unavailable, like to adjust picture, color and etc.. i've installed the magic tune application, which is in the CD i get inside the monitor's box when i buy it. Anyone using the same monitor and experience this? Btw, i'm using HD4850 as my GC.

Which monitor should i go for?

I'm aiming for 22" inch LCD monitor, but can hardly choose between BenQ, Samsung or LG.. Erm, my budget is around 500-650? Can anyone help me to state some models? What's are their pros n cons.. And between, what's the difference between those that have HD, and those that don't have, does the picture quality differ much? I normally use to play game n watch movies
