AIO Printer Recommendaton

Hi guys, would need some recommendation for the best bang of buck AIO printer as my current HP Officejet Pro 8620 had come to an end of its services...

Brand : Any
Usage : Monthly printing less than 100 pages.
Must have : Separate colour ink tank or cartridge, paper tray, ID copy function.
Optional : ADF, pigment ink.
Budget : Ard RM 500 +-, depends on the features.

Since my monthly usage isn't that high, I wondering whether the ink tank or the cartridge type of inkjet is more valuable in term of ink replacement cost?

I did replace the entire printhead for my 8620 and the price was hefty. This round it couldn't be repair as HP customer service told me they no longer care parts for this model anymore.

I'm personally prefer the ink tank type, considering the refill inks are more cheaper. But will this type of printer able to replace/service when the internally printhead get clogged?

As for the ink dried up speed, which type will last more longer between the ink tank type and cartridge type?

Now my dilemma & concern between these 2 models are mostly the spec on the BOLD part...

My current daily drive is Asus N56V, which weight around 2.7kg and size is 380 x 255 x 27.3 mm.

The GE63VR spec almost fits my requirement, but the size is almost similar as my current laptop and this kinda hold me back.

As for the GS63VR,the spec and size really attract me on the first sight. But after digging more, especially the type of battery it use. It seems like the cost of replacing it is higher as compare to li-ion. I will be glad if some gurus can share some input about the battery...

If li-polymer battery can use 3rd party alternative replacement, then my choice would be much more clearer...

If any forumers are using any of these models, pls share some user experience~

[WTA] AIO Printer Recommendation...

Dear fellow forumers, recently I just disposed off my HP Officejet Pro 8500A due to the printhead need to be replaced and the cost for it is almost equal to a new printer. But I have to admit that this printer really perform well and met all my requirements. Too bad after I purchased it during 2012, I went to work at oversea and underutilised it.

My printing is around 50-100 pages per month, receiving and sending fax, scanning documents. The 8500A even allow me to fax from my laptop wirelessly(which I like it a lot due to I'm staying in a 2sty house).

So, now is time for me to hunt for a new printer. But I'm in dilemma whether should stick with inkjet or laser printer.

Inkjet
-------
Pro - Cheaper printing cost (black & colour), cheaper selling price (black & colour).

Con - Need to print on and off in order to keep the printhead in healthy condition, cost of replacing printhead is high.

Rumour - Cartridge and printhead has expire date set in the chipset, meaning it has to be replace once expire date reached even there are still remaining ink inside the cartridge.(Anyone can verify this?)

Laser
------
Pro - No printhead issue, toner still lasting even less printing over certain period(months).

Con - Higher printing cost, more expensive if opt for colour laser printer with individual toner system.

I'm currently considering of HP Officejet Pro 8620 e AIO and Samsung Xpress SL-M2070FW(mono laser). But of course I would be glad if sifu here can provide me with some suggestion.

My budget is RM1k and below...

Anyone kind enough to teach how to bypass those blocks?
