Blower Style GPU suggestion

I'm looking for blower style GPU, any suggestion? Hardly seen anyone selling.
I asked ASUS Malaysia for their RTX 3070 Turbo (blower type), but unfortunately, they only sell those as projects based, MOQ is 10 units and above.

Don't mind looking for used unit or older GPU, I'm only gaming on 1080p anyway

Quad core i7 journey
My current system is Pentium G4560, 2C 4T CPU, on an ASUS H110 board, RX480 GPU and 8GBx2 2133Mhz RAM, SATA SSD and a 1TB HDD. Nothing fancy, but I just play some StarCraft, MGSV, nothing too demanding.

This is until I bought Jedi Fallen Order on a sale. Love the game, but my G4560 can’t handle it, always 100% load and have terrible 1% load. My RX480 seem too able to handle medium setting on 1080 just fine.

I don’t want to spend on a whole new PC, and this start my journey to survey for a CPU upgrade. H110 support Intel 6th or 7th Gen CPU, so first I’m looking for i7 6700 or i7 7700, but hell they are pricey from used market, usually cost between RM800 to RM1k, which I think is not good value for 2021, while the i5 6400 above also asking at least RM400. This make me put the upgrade idea on hold.

Until one day I saw on Carousell there is a seller selling an empty Alienware R12 for RM700. It doesn’t have CPU, GPU, RAM and SSD, but other included parts as Z490 motherboard, 1000W Gold PSU, 120MM AIO, Killer WiFi card. Bought the unit and start order my new processor.

After some research, 10th Gen Intel i3 10110F specs are pretty similar to i7 6700/7700, and it only cost RM350. So total spending RM1050, I think it’s worth more than buying an RM1k i7 7700.

But Alienware sometimes a bit skeptical on after-market part, so finger cross and start the transplant. Yeap, it won’t boot after transplant, 4x error light blink (I think previous setup applying XMP on my cheap RAM), memory error, so reset CMOS battery, turn on, wait for a minutes, and… it boot, finally. The start up a little bit strange, the Win10 loading dot looks ok, but the middle there, where should be the Alienware logo, become a long white bar, still it boot into my old Windows 10 no problem.

I want a clean Windows 10 install, so download DELL OS Recovery tool, start downloading image to my pendrive. When time to press “F12” to choose boot device, there is nothing but white blank screen, F2 in to the BIOS same, same things. After some research, it seem it’s a common problem for R12, Radeon or GeForce, you need newer GPU to “see” the BIOS, but Windows run just fine, and my Radeon RX480 is UEFI compatible as well. I think that just Alien tech for me.

So ignore the Dell recovery image, I use my current old Win10 to re-install itself, and later proceed to Dell website to manually download the remaining Alienware bloatware, such as the command center, to adjust the RGB light and fan control. I also download the Intel XTU to adjust the boost period, my i3 is default to 80s, and some YouTuber found the some CPU is default the 28s only, which need manual adjustment for best performance. The only downside is my RAM limit to 2133, and I can’t adjust the speed as I can’t see shit on the BIOS.

Pros: Everything works!
Cons: Can't see BIOS

So, what you guys think? Is this a good buy for total of RM1050? At least I think the Z490 have some room for future CPU upgrade, with high temp of course.

*If anyone buying a 2nd hand unit, or from random online market place (like FB marketplace, Carousell, etc), please make sure you get the original invoice from the seller. You need that for support & warranty claim

Official Intel product site Intel Celeron 3930

The CPU been use for office work during MCO, the bundle fan and heatsink never used as the PC is using water cooling (don't laugh)
Now upgrade to more powerful CPU and this Celeron is no longer needed.

The Celeron 3930 is from Kaby Lake family, means it will work on Intel 7th Gen supported motherboard, 6th Gen motherboard may need latest BIOS.
The CPU been running on ASUS H110 motherboard, no problem.

Hi all, I got some questions regarding some old PC games.

I have the original retail game of Modern Warfare 2 and Lost Planet.
I have a old PC running XP and I want to install those 2 games, but Steam no longer support on Windows XP.
Is there anyway to bypass Steam for install the games?

*I just want single player mode, no interest in multiplayer

I keep my old PC running XP for other old games, cause some old title won't run on Win 7

I have a Power Mac G4 (Quicksilver)

When I try to turn on there is no power, but rather a constant clicking relay sound coming from PSU.
Anyone know where go get a replacement or repair?

(Ebay selling over 200USD per PSU, too expensive for me)

Btw, I also replace the PRAM Battery but also no luck.

Bought it at Sri Computer RM495, receipt will be provided. This is a 2GB version (not 4GB), Sapphire just use same 4GB box for packaging.
Reason I bought 2GB as 4GB version are not faster despite much higher price, as RX460 are not powerful enough to drive 4GB of graphics anyway.
This card do not need extra PCI-E power connector, it's a 75W card, enough to just draw power from motherboard.

Who raise GPU price? (Not who cause?)

Most news I found on internet of raising GPU price is due to cryptocurrency, lack of DDR5 supply, demand over supply.

The question is which party raise it.

Nvidia and AMD made GPU chip --> sell to AIB parther (Asus, MSI, etc) --> distributed to local distributor --> bought by retail store (C-zone, Viewnet, etc)

Based on my under standing chip maker won't simply raise the price, as Nvidia also selling online at retail price (even always no stock),
so I'm guessing the local distributor and retailer are the one raising the price for huge margin.

Anyone in this field can enlight this?

I'm looking for a mini electronic keyboard.
Did't play music for 10 years and look for something to start again.

I looking at a Casio 44 Key Mini Electronic Keyboard SA-76
It only have 44 keys, like a toys for children.

My point it I'm not sure if I can pick up music again after rusty for a decade.
Scare to spent a lot later didn't use much.

I have a 2012 VAIO laptop mode SVE15115.

Recently I found a seller on Mudah.com sell a used i7-3610QM Quad Core @ 2.30Ghz for RM200

Bought it and install it, bios no problem detecting it as well as Win10.
TDP is a bit high @ 45W compare to stock i3 35W, but the cooling wasn't a issue after stress test.
