Is EPF/SOSCO compulsory for Employers?

I own a small Trading Company and recently, my insurance agent suggested a plan that works like EPF but is more rewarding.

So I am thinking I should stop funding EPF and switch to this plan but I am afraid if I have broken any laws with this.

So here is my question, is it mandatory for Employers to commit EPF/SOSCO for themselves?

I believe this is not a good question for KWSP. Any help would be great.

Depositing cheque for a friend

Just a quick question on depositing cheques for friend via a Cheque Deposit Machine, at the back of the cheque, do I fill in the name and contact of the account holder, or the detail of my own? Does it matter?

I have filled up the slip at the back with my own details, and the account number of the holder, and someone told me the cheque has become unusable, so i have yet to put it in a machine, any idea would be great. Thanks very much!
