OK, so I have a performance coming up and I am required to play the piano and guitar. my senior told me to memorize/learn a short section of song and perform.

I have no music knowledge at all. Any tips to make things easier for me? lol

UKM Engineering Course

Hello guys, I just got my UPU offer letter yesterday. It's UKM - Kejuruteraan Pembuatan(Manufacturing Eng)

I've heard rumours that courses in the whole of UKM main campus(Bangi) will be taught in BM. Some even said assignments/thesis have to be written in BM. I even heard of a case that marks will be deducted if answers are written in English during exam.

While I am getting all these infos, there are also people who told me that Engineering will be taught in English. Everything will be in English.

I'm hearing two VERY different news. Can someone from the inside or UKM Engineering student PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE clarify this for me?

I have no problem socialising in Malay. I'm aware of core subject like Tamadun Islam is in malay. In fact I'm from a national primary school. I just do not want to learn Physics/Maths in BM because I am taught Science/Maths in English since Form 1. Changing the language would be a REAL trouble for me.

Also, is it possible to change from manufacturing Eng > MEchanical Eng? From what I heard, UKM Manufacturing and mechanical are of the same department.

‘Blackouts’ for users of pirated Windows

PETALING JAYA: Starting Wednesday, users with pirated copies of Microsoft Corp's Windows XP Professional operating system (OS) on machines that are Internet-capable could find their computer displays going black and with no screen icons visible.

There are 8.6 million users of Win XP Pro in Malaysia and about three million are expected to suffer the “blackouts,” according to Microsoft Malaysia.

To continue working, the user would need to reset the machine’s desktop background. Everything will return to normal. But when 60 minutes are up, the black screen will reappear and the user must go through the whole process again.

This will keep happening until the user licenses the copy of Win XP Pro on the machine by going to a Microsoft reseller or getting a licence online at the www.microsoft.com/malaysia/genuine. Each licence costs RM580.

Is this true? anyone had experienced the black screen yet?

are there any ways to overcome this?(without spending hundreds of ringgit for a new,original one)

Help me to fix my dvd burner

i am 15 year old, and i really need some help.

My dvd burner is auto-rejecting every disc i inserting in...
1. I pressed the eject button.
2. The tray comes out and i put a dvd/cd inside.
3. after few seconds (approx 5 secs), it will eject automatically.
