No display for mid-high-end gpu

Hi guys, I need help...
On last Saturday, my desktop out of sudden loss the display signal while playing game, but still can hear some sounds at one point, but the GPU (gtx 970) doesn't seem to be able to recover.. So I had to hard reset... And it restarted well..

So, tested and play again, for like 10-15 mins it happened again.. Repeatedly tested for few times, until the display can no longer work.. ( no signal on boot)...

So, I decided to borrow a low end GPU (HD radeon 2600) from my friend (because his desktop system is no longer working, I can't test mine..)..
I tested and it works..

So I ruled out that it must be the GPU.. tested using more powerful new (550w) PSU, result is still the same.. So, I bought a new GPU (Gtx 1060), installed, and result is the same.~~... Still no display signal....

To my utter sadness, I am now not sure what could be the problem.. What could possibly be the cause, having on lower-end GPU works? Motherboard...? Or possibly the CPU?

I am using asrock b75 dgs, and Xeon E3 1230 v2...

hello guys I am planning to get a used kelisa soon... but still haven't make any choice yet (feel so hard to make one)... so below is the choice i had :

Kelisa 2004 SE
RM18,800 (can be lowered to 18,300)
- blue metallic (but newly repainted with original color)
- new tyres
- mileage 170,000km!!!
- leather sit

Kelisa 2005 SE Bodykits
RM16,800
- white metallic (black roof)
- tyre 80%
- mileage 90,000km
- normal cloth sit.

actually i'll prefer the 2004 one, because of the beautiful color it had (blue metallic and black roof), if it wasn't a 170,000km of mileage. The 2005 is cheap and younger plus had gone for 90,000km only.

1. If i were to choose the 2004 one, do you think it worth my money for that mileage? what is the risk for having that mileage may I know? i afraid of having the need to put more money for repair. and afraid the FC gone worse for that mileage.. but truthly i say, i really like the car color (my father interested in that too) =D. Checked the car, has no leak.

2. If i choose the 2005 one, the 90,000km sounds like too good to be true? what if the risk if it's not?

3. what is the risk for used car with big mileage?

If anybody can help me, I am looking for a company that sells a set of equipments for professional video recording. Refer the list of example equipment's type below:

- Professional Camcorder (2 or 3 units)
- switcher + monitor
- others

The list may not complete because I don't really know what equipment actually is needed.

The usage is :
- recording college's convocation

If anybody have ideas where I can get em without buying em all separately, I appreciate them very much. If got a quotation or price list for all the needed equipment, is also welcomed.

Laptop power failure

Hello there people,

Okay, let me brief a abit about my laptop problem.

The problem is basically power failure whenever I tried to start it up, BUT once I successfully gotten into windows, it could sustain so long until I manually power it down...

The first few weeks symptoms:
1. The laptop has lost his ability to use battery- As everytime I use battery, it sometimes took a minute to half hour to suddenly shut down...
2. After a few weeks, I thought it was the battery problem, but my assumption was wrong, the laptop started to fail even by using the adaptor-
3. But, even so, I could still be able to power it into the windows, with one times of power failure only...

Now:
1. Week by week, it's getting harder to power it up into the windows-
2. Last week, it requires like 2 - 3 times of power failure before I can successfully gotten into the windows
3. But, day by day, it's getting harder and harder, it could be 5 - 10 times of power failure before I can successfully gotten into the windows.

How did I managed to get into the windows, without having a power failure at all:
1. Since I have a dual boot (using grub), I waited there for likes 10 - 15 minutes, then I enter without problem.
2. I can even wait forever in the dual boot (grub) selection screen, without any sudden shutdown.

I tried to diagnose it myself, at first I thought it was the hard disk:
1. Then I used linux (sabily) live CD. And it fails.
2. I thought it was my adapter, then I used my little brothers adapter. And it fails too.
3. Tried to find out if the cpu temp could be reason of this behaviour, but the cpu temp software didn't show any temperature (maybe because my lappy didn't have the temp monitor). But I find it is hard to believe if it was temperature problem, since the lappy could sustain so long after I have successfully gotten into the windows.

So, guys what do you think it could be- The lappy is getting hard to power up, day by day. Even getting into the dual boot screen now usually requires two times of power failure-

hello all, how are you.

What made ragnarok online a remarkable mmorpg ever made? what make it so much great that it left us with so much addicted memory? What make this game made us like crying while we try to remember it? Why the game is so epic??!!

I start first. Well, at the very beginning ages of ragnarok in malaysia (which is around august 2003), the game was once free when it was in an open beta state. I was once played at the times where the server holds more than 7000 players in malaysia alone. Those time was epic that even I had to open my map (real map) to travel from prontera through forest to payon. (I had no money for kapra lol).

After the 4 months of open beta, I left the game because that time there's no chance for me to pay to play..

Is it because of the vastful and the big world of ragnarok? that leads it to an epicness? What game do have a bigger map than ragnarok?

i have this problem of mine..

start when i move my pc to my hostel..
my pc suddently off on its own..
after that.. electric licking at my monitor and my housing...
i already checked my power supply...
and its is surely in good condition...
then... i already service my pc... clean all the ram..harddisk,power supply.. its still have the same problem..
my fiend said.. i must change my fan liquid because he said maybe proccesor is over heated...
i do it 1 time b4.. and its working.. but in 2 days.. the same problem strike my pc again...
now.. i dont know wat to do.. hope u guys can help me..

why did sometime i saw some expensive air cooling do have slower speed then cheaper...

i am a bit confusing of choosing a cooler. currently my proc is over heating... [idle at 1.6ghz@40 degree, load at 2.4ghz 65+ degree E6600]...

please help me choosing the right cooler, because me never buy, enough for keeping my proc cooled to below 50.

HSF - Normal intel HSF
Mobo - P31ESGG [New]

is it normal temp.? for using this proc with a normal HSF?

its now idle at 77, (with me monitoring it at BIOS)
tell me what happen?

well internet so slow, sometime I need to refresh page for more than 2 time, just to see the page load fully.. i think, my internet dial up 5 years ago was more better than this... sometime need to wait more than 5 or 10 or 30 minute just to see the page load fully... and sometime, the page will never load fully, 8/10, or 5/10 or even onli 1/10 page onli will load.

and i dont want to talk about download... damn slow, never reach 20kbps, and some download would never work, even if the file size onli 100kb.

i use PPPoE configuration. And never turn off my modem, except if theres a lightning. does it concern?

now, should I change to a pricey modem?

hey, i've tried some solution.
heres thing i've done:

1. I use my friends 1mbps streamyx id. the speed still the same, onli up about few kbps download speed.
2. then I change my modem, to a newer but same model as the old (riger DB102). Speed doesnt change... still TOO slow.
3. then I change the splitter and dsl cable... and things never change... the speed is still the same,

so i make the conclusion the problem is not at modem, splitter or my package (512kbps)... theres some folk say that it may be my line, so if its true how to change my phone line?? just tell me please, really in need of internet...
cant do anything. I am getting so jealous at my friend internet whos always get more than 100kbps everytime he downloading...

please help me.. thanks!

p/s:theres some experiment that ive done. my antivirus update never finish its task...
