Hi All,

Say this is the first time purchasing a house, which costed around RM400k. Could someone advise me on the procedures and fees involved ? Is there any bank offering payment package to those stamp or land charges while in later days I pay back to bank along with the home loan ?

Is it true that different lawyer having different fees charged ? I see some posts here saying some could even give discount ?

I turn on my wifi on SE Aino and connect to an open network. However when I open internet to browse net, it said " Communication Error. Try again, turn off Wi-Fi or contact your provider for support".

Anyone knows where to pay this cukai pintu ? The situation is I have a flat rented out for long ( which is actually not belonged to me ), then now it is being sold, but I will need to pay this cukai pintu. Since I am not staying at that flat and it is rented out, I don't have the letter of cukai pintu.

So right now, where should I go to pay that ? And how they are going to know which house I am paying ? Just provide them my house address ? as I don't have my letter.

I am seeking guidance and advice on importing agricultural product from Thailand into Malaysia. I have the least idea on what need to be researched or applied in this Import. Do I need to get some kind of import permit from Departmen of Agriculture or Kastam Malaysia ? Is there any import duty or sales tax involved ? And what others ?

I am planning an insurance policy for kid aged 4. I have been introduced by GE on this Smart Protect Essential Insurance. Due to my shortage of finance, I only afford a RM100 monthly premium.

Is anyone familiar with this plan ? Or should I take up the traditional plan - Great Enhanced Living Care ?

Or any advice on what kind of insurance I should take as basic for a kid ? I would actually wish to get protection and saving to him step by step.

Iswara Air Cond Problem

I am driving Proton Iswara, about 4 years old. These days the air cond seems having problem. It is not giving out cool air whenever I am stuck in traffic jam. I find that if I am stopping my car with my engine running, the air cond tends to stop having cool air. But if I am driving smoothly on the road, the air cond seems working fine.

Please do give me some ideas on this repair, as I have asked a mechanic before, he told me need to change this and that which I don't understand at all, and it will cost RM200 or so.
