Graphics Got Enhanced for Conquer Online 3?

I found this news from N4G. And it is new screenshots from Conquer Online 3. Is it new Twin City? It looks better than before even though it is still 2D. I hope all the graphic can be enhanced as the news said. I so miss the old days when I was hanging around in the twin city, chatting with my friends and doing some business.

http://n4g.com/news/1044785/conquer-online...-oriental-world

Brand-new Free-to-Play Game - Conquer Online 3?

Earlier this week, I lurked around and found an eye-catching article about NetDragon’s free-to-play new title Conquer Online 3. As a loyal gamer to the current version of Conquer Online a couple of years ago, I have some nostalgic thoughts about me and my friends having fun in the game. The main reason that kept me away from it is the uncountable and ridiculous updates, which actually ruined the essence of it.

But in the article, NetDragon has it that the updates so amiss will be abandoned, which means Talismans & Battle Power will be removed. (Hooray!). The article also has it that the graphic will be improved upon, and most importantly compared to Diablo 3, which costs you 59.99 bucks and not yet has PvP feature implemented, this game stays free-to-play and has PvP actions! As a wizard in Diablo 3, I smelt some movements towards the RMAH update, so I would rather take a shot at this new title Conquer 3 when it’s released. What do you think?

Oh, for the ones who show some interest in this ol’ new game, here’s the article:
http://mmoattack.com/mmorpg-news/netdragon...nquer-online-3/

Action TPS MMO The Penguins War

http://news.mmosite.com/content/2011-07-28...oy_2011,1.shtml

As an online action TPS characterized by massive battles, The Penguins War takes penguins as its core characters, and enables players to act as well-known historical personages and join intense battles by use of weapons that stand for different ages. It's introduced that The Penguins War features an item system and a skill combination system, which are two major systems that support players' stimulating gamine experiences.

Additionally, in response to the saying that TPS games are much less thrilling than FPS ones, Snail Game expressed that The Penguins War's item system and skill combination system would make up for this shortcoming. In the game, players can move swiftly, and fight skillfully by hiding or clinging.

From the unveiled content, we can see that The Penguins War lays stress on the more promising and distinguishing content instead of the traditional TPS shooting elements, with a view to beefing up the game content. In some degree, The Penguins War can be said as a RPG employing the TPS-style control mode.

Game Better Than Sex?

A recent contest held by Dragon's Call official(http://dc.gamedp.com) shows some interesting views about the game and sex. Many players intended to compare the game - Dragon's Call with their girlfriend and wrote a funny joke about it.

QUOTE

Actually, game and sex are not two comparable topics, but it's pretty understandable for young adults to get everything related to sex during the adolescence. (Most young adults, especially male, have a sex impulse in every 30 minutes according to science research and personal experience.) A creative event theme would certainly call out their imagination and creativity in this aspect, just like this contest called "You know you've played too much Dragons Call when...” Players only need to scan the memories in their gaming life and complete this sentence to depict a real situation or a joke. So there we go, a player named Mammotherection wrote - You know you've played too much Dragons Call when...you say "One sec, Running Instances with my new apprentice" when your girlfriend is already naked in bed.

Game or Sex?

Browser Games That Similar to WoW

1. Dragon's Call(http://dc.gamedp.com) Similarity: 90%
When you saw the game name, maybe you would remind the item with the same name in WoW. Absolutely, from name to other stuff, the game is like a Browser-Based Version of WoW except graphics. The gameplay system, including Guild, Auction, PvP, Instance, Arean, Achievements and so on, which are all similar to World of Warcraft.

2. Earth Eternal(http://www.eartheternal.com) Similarity: 80%
The game has 22 playable races and four classes - Knight, Rogue, Mage, Druid. Both graphically and gameplay wise Earth Eternal feels a lot like World of Warcraft. There’s no doubt the game received a lot of its inspiration from Blizzard’s enormously popular title, as nearly everything from interface to combat mechanics feel as if they were taken right out of WoW.

3. Free Realm(http://www.freerealms.com) Similarity: 70%
Free Realms does look and feel, in many ways, like World of Warcraft. The graphics and other goal-oriented activities are like WoW. In Free Realms, users can have pets, work at jobs, race around, play games, explore the world, and (of course) customize and deck out their avatars, which are common in World of Warcraft.

Dragon's Call is a browser-based fantasy MMORPG with stunning graphics and turn-based combat. The graphic are 2D, yet it's a magnificent medieval theme of art. The battle is text-based as default but we can switch it to animation which is flash based! What sets this game apart from other browser-based games of its kind is its rich gameplay content and visual appeal, and that it encourages players to get involved with the community in real-time. The game features hundreds of class-specialized pieces of equipment, events to promote player interaction, hundreds quests with thousands of lines of insightful NPC dialogue, hundreds of unique animated graphics, a distinct user interface with customizable elements, and several other systems to put twists into your otherwise ordinary RPG. It is highly addictive, with a vibrant community, and awesome random banter.

DC just launched a new server. If you're looking for a more interactive game, this is a great time to come join Dragon's Call.

http://dc.gamedp.com

IGN: Weblegend Hope to see you soon!
A virtual Egg can be sold for a stunning $69,696.00 USD. It just happened in Planet Calypso, a MMOG that used to announce the sale of a Space Station for $330,000. Sequence of the Egg sale is as follow:

Jon "NEVERDIE" Jacobs held a public auction Sunday, inside Planet Calypso, and sold the Virtual Egg to David Storey aka Deathifier. Deathifier owns "Treasure Island" in the game, a tax generating Virtual World Destination. NEVERDIE purchased the Virtual Egg for $10,000 USD in 2006 from a gamer who completed a unique quest. The Final Chapter in the Egg's History has yet to be written as thousands of players speculate what will actually hatch from the it and if it will be worth the extraordinary price tag.

$330,000 for a virtual Space Station! $69,696.00 for a virtual Egg! Are they insane?

New Browser MMO - Dragon's Call CBT Review

Dragon's Call is an Epic Browser Based MMORPG set in the Ancient World of Stilland. The game is featured with stunning graphics and a large variety of ways to play. Your character will be equipped with an variety of weapons, skills and magical abilities to help you in your journey through quests across the mysterious lands.

Story (8/10): Dragon's Call sets on a world called Still Land, "a magic world accommodating various creatures, including humans, elves, dwarves, giants, orcs, dragons, animals and evil forces with tremendous power. There was a short period of quiet time after the worlds came into being, when all forms of life lived in peace and harmony. However, as powers and desires swelled, struggles and conflicts, declared or not, came one after another, numerous wars bestowed different destinies upon the races. Some races vanished, while others rose; some allied with each other, while others continued endless fights; some dwelled atop high mountains, while others lurked into abyss seas…"

Graphics (8/10): The game looks quite brilliant and the artists have done a good job with both environment and user interface, adventuring around the world is not so interesting, the developers could add some places to explore, instead of just showing a few points in the map to go to.

Game Play(9/10): There are no overpowered weapons or gear for players who pay and this keeps game fair for everybody, making the game extremely playable for the non-payers too. Dragon’s Call also keeps players balanced with action points. Action points are required to do various actions in the world. They recharge automaticly each day, and once you run out of them, you can just log off and wait for the next day.

The most interesting part about this game is that they support auto-fight, which is strange for a game like this. In most cases auto-fighting is something to get banned for. Instead of killing monsters over and over again you can easily use it to do the work for you. Sure, you will get a little less experience and lose the gold you would have received but you will still get some of the job done.

As for the classes, the game currently presents three classes, the basic Warrior, wise mage, and the agile assassin. I would be hoping for more classes, or possibly 'job-advantages'. xD

Personal/Overall Rating(9/10): In overall, the game is extremely addicting and fun, and free! The game is new, so there won't be much 'elitism' around just yet. Its easy to pick up, its a great game for a casual gamer. Dragon's Call is undergoing 2nd CBT now. Anyone wanna try could get a key from multi sites: http://dc.gamedp.com/events_page/key_center.shtml
